Georgia Tech 66, Alabama A&M 7: Synjyn Days rushed for two touchdowns in the first half as the host Yellow Jackets built a 52-0 lead at intermission.
David Sims finished with a career-high 111 yards rushing and a touchdown for Georgia Tech (7-4). The Yellow Jackets, coming into the game eighth in the nation in rushing, finished with 428 rushing yards, rushed for six touchdowns in the first half and Quayshawn Nealy returned a second-quarter fumble 18 yards for a touchdown.
The Bulldogs (4-8) finished with 252 yards of total offense, including 49 in the first half. Jaymason Lee completed 14-of-27 passes for 205 yards and Alabama A&M rushed for just 47 yards on 30 carries.
Georgia Tech scored on each of its seven first-half possessions. Days scored on a 2-yard run, Zach Laskey scored from 6 yards out, Harrison Butker kicked a 40-yard field goal and Robert Godhigh rushed for a 1-yard touchdown as the Yellow Jackets led 24-0 after one quarter.
Days added an 8-yard touchdown run four minutes into the second quarter, Nealy scored on the fumble return on the ensuing Alabama A&M possession, Sims broke loose for a 39-yard touchdown and Matt Connors added a 1-yard run to make it 52-0 with 2:36 remaining before halftime. Connors scored from 4 yards out midway through the third.
