Utah 42, Colorado 35: Reggie Dunn snapped a fourth-quarter tie with his NCAA-record fourth 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown this season as the Utes notched their first road win of the year.
After leading 17-14 at halftime, Utah (5-7, 3-6 Pac-12) kicked a field goal to extend the lead in the third quarter before Colorado (1-11, 1-8) rallied to take a 28-20 lead heading into the final period.
John White, who rushed for 168 yards and went over 1,000 for the season, and Travis Wilson ran for touchdowns early in the fourth to give Utah a 35-28 lead.
Marques Mosley returned a kickoff 100 yards with 8:25 left to tie the game at 35-35, only to see Dunn set the NCAA record when he answered the ensuing kickoff and went almost untouched to send the Buffaloes to their eighth straight loss.
White notched his fifth 100-yard game of the season and became the first Utah player in school history to go over 1,000 yards rushing in back-to-back seasons.
NOTEBOOK: Colorado finished its 2012 season winless at home for the first time since 1920 and for the first time ever at Folsom Field, which opened in 1924. ... Mosley's kick return for a TD was the first by a Colorado player since Brian Lockridge went 98 yards at Oklahoma State in 2009. ... White suffered an arm injury and did not play the final 10 minutes.
