Ravens 21, Titans 7: Justin Forsett ran for 112 yards and two touchdowns while Joe Flacco threw for a score as host Baltimore overcame a slow start to top Tennessee.
Torrey Smith made five catches for 75 yards and a TD for the Ravens (6-4), who snapped a two-game slide and improved to 43-10 at home since 2008. Baltimore limited the Titans to just 210 yards while heading into its bye week on a positive note.
Rookie Zach Mettenberger completed 16-of-27 passes for 179 yards with one TD and one interception in his first career road start for the Titans (2-7), losers of three straight and seven of eight. Leon Washington recorded his first receiving touchdown since 2008 while Bishop Sankey led a lackluster rushing attack with 58 yards.
Shonn Greene fumbled on the Baltimore 1 to end the game's first possession and ruin a goal-to-go situation for the Titans, but Washington took a shovel pass from Mettenberger and took it in from 3 yards out to start the scoring late in the first quarter. Following an exchange of punts, Forsett capped an eight-play drive with a 9-yard TD for a 7-7 halftime score.
Forsett snapped the tie with an 11-yard scoring run with 5:36 to go in the third and Flacco found Smith for a 32-yard touchdown less than two minutes into the fourth to make it 21-7. Tennessee did not record a first down in the second half until there were fewer than five minutes remaining and Mettenberger threw his lone pick moments later as the Titans never advanced past midfield after halftime.
