Last Meeting ( Nov 29, 2015 ) Los Angeles 7, Cincinnati 31

The Los Angeles Rams breathed a sigh of relief after snapping a three-game losing streak with a decisive victory over a reeling foe. The Rams aim to take advantage of another struggling adversary on Sunday afternoon when they square off against the winless Cincinnati Bengals in London.

Los Angeles' Jared Goff answered a career-low 78-yard performance against San Francisco on Oct. 13 by throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for another in last Sunday's 37-10 romp over Atlanta. Todd Gurley was able to reel in one of his touchdown passes versus the free-falling Falcons, but the electric back could find success on the ground against a bewildered Bengals' club that ranks last in rushing defense (189.0 yards per game) and total defense (430.9). Keeping the Rams in check is the responsibility of first-year head coach Zac Taylor, who worked as an assistant with Los Angeles for two seasons (2017-18) and was the quarterbacks coach last year. In addition to seeing both head coach Sean McVay and Goff, the 36-year-old Taylor will have to tangle with Jalen Ramsey after missing the former Pro Bowl cornerback last week in a 27-17 setback to his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

ABOUT THE BENGALS (0-7): What a difference a season makes for Joe Mixon, who led the AFC in rushing in 2018 after erupting for 1,168 yards in 14 games before being limited to just 254 in seven contests in 2019. "It's frustrating for any running back when we're having the lack of success that we're having right now," Taylor said of Mixon, who mustered a career-low two yards on 10 carries versus the Jaguars. Andy Dalton isn't singing a much happier tune, as lack of a ground attack and negative game script have led to increased pass attempts -- and interceptions (eight). Alex Erickson provided a positive for Dalton, as the former hauled in career-high totals in receptions (eight) and yards (137) last week after totaling 11 catches for 109 yards in his previous five games.

ABOUT THE RAMS (4-3): Cooper Kupp has answered 100-plus-yard receiving performances in four straight games with just 67 yards total spread over the last two contests. Fellow wideout Robert Woods eclipsed the latter total with five catches for 80 yards against the Falcons, however, he has yet to find the end zone this season. Tight end Gerald Everett has done that twice in his last four games, registering 18 receptions in the process. Mammoth defensive tackle Aaron Donald continues to wreak havoc with the opposition, recording a sack and forced fumble in back-to-back games.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Los Angeles is playing in London for the third time in four years.

2. Cincinnati's minus-9 turnover differential is the third-worst in the NFL, just ahead of the New York Giants (minus-10) and Miami (minus-11).

3. Ramsey has forced a fumble in back-to-back games, one with the Jaguars and another in his Rams' debut.

PREDICTION: Rams 31, Bengals 16
