Anaheim @ Vegas preview
T-Mobile Arena
Last Meeting ( Mar 1, 2019 ) Vegas 3, Anaheim 0
The Anaheim Ducks take their rediscovered offense into Sunday's game against the host Vegas Golden Knights. Anaheim recorded one goal in consecutive losses to Calgary and at Nashville and Dallas before erupting for a 5-2 victory at Colorado on Saturday with Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverberg each scoring their team-leading sixth goal.
"I really thought we were due for that," Ducks coach Dallas Eakins told reporters. "Getzy (captain Ryan Getzlaf) and I this afternoon were saying, 'We're due for a game where we score four or five goals.' There's too many games in a row where you get chances and they don't go in. Great for our guys to stick with the process and finally get rewarded." Vegas has lost two of its last three games, allowing six goals in each setback after falling 6-1 to Colorado on Friday. "A humbling game, for sure," Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb told reporters. "... It's tough. Back to work. ..." Vegas has won four straight meetings and seven of the eight all-time encounters.
