The Boston Bruins haven't failed to earn a point since their final game before the All-Star break, going 11-0-4 since falling to the New York Rangers on Jan. 19. They attempt to continue the streak and strengthen their hold on second place in the Atlantic Division when they continue a six-game homestand Saturday against the New Jersey Devils.
Boston, which sits three points ahead of Toronto in the Atlantic, has begun its stretch at TD Garden with 4-1 victories over San Jose and Tampa Bay. Noel Acciari registered a goal and an assist in Thursday's triumph over the Lightning as the Bruins extended their home winning streak to six games. New Jersey is coming off its third loss in four overall contests as it concluded a 1-2-0 homestand with a 6-3 loss to Philadelphia on Friday. Jesper Bratt returned from a two-game absence due to a lower-body injury to score a goal and set up another for the Devils, who have dropped three of their last four on the road.

ABOUT THE DEVILS (25-32-8): Kevin Rooney has been hot of late, recording a goal in each of his last two contests after beginning his three-game point streak with an assist. The 25-year-old rookie center notched a total of three points over his first 23 games of the season. Coach John Hynes told the team's website that Mirco Mueller, who left Wednesday's loss to Calgary on a stretcher and was taken to the hospital after crashing head-first into the boards, did not suffer a concussion or neck injury and is dealing with only a left shoulder ailment.
ABOUT THE BRUINS (38-17-9): Boston will be without Sean Kuraly as the 26-year-old center was placed in concussion protocol after being involved in a collision with two members of the Lightning in Thursday's victory. Coach Bruce Cassidy told the team's website that Kuraly, who has recorded six goals and 11 assists in 63 games this season, was feeling better but did not participate in Friday's practice. Brad Marchand, who leads the team in assists (49) and points (75), has scored a goal in seven of his last 10 contests.
