Seth Jarvis anytime goal (+190)
Seth Jarvis skates together with Mikko Rantanen on the Carolina Hurricanes' first power-play unit. This is a great way to attack the Calgary Flames, given that they rank 28th in the league in penalty minutes taken per game and 31st penalty-kill percentage. Jarvis has scored in three of his past four games against the Flames and has 15 goals over his last 21 games overall.
Mikko Rantanen anytime goal (+130)
Dustin Wolf is 1-3-1 over his past five starts with a .887 SV% and 3.22 GAA. In his defense, the Flames’ blueline has struggled. Over the past two months, Calgary ranks 26th in the league in xGA/60. That brings us to Mikko Rantanen, who just scored against the Buffalo Sabres two games ago amidst the trade rumors. Despite being a new face in Carolina, Rantanen owns the highest goal mark on the Hurricanes roster.

Under 6 (-120)
A matchup between the Calgary Flames and Carolina Hurricanes should be where goals go to die. The Flames have played in an abundance of low-scoring games, owning a 21-37-1 O/U record to date. The Hurricanes have posted similar numbers, cashing only 24 Overs through the first 60 games of their season. There isn’t much reason to expect an offensive outburst in this one. The Flames are tied with the Senators and Canucks for last in 5v5 goals over the past 10 games, scoring only 12 in that span. Calgary is a feisty team but they lack high-end skill and dynamic gamebreakers, which makes finishing a difficult task. That’s unlikely to change against a Hurricanes squad that ranks second in shot suppression at 5v5.
