After stealing Game 1 of the WNBA Finals in dramatic fashion, the Minnesota Lynx fell to the New York Liberty in Game 2, and the series is tied 1-1 heading to Minnesota.

Who will win Liberty vs Lynx Game 3?
After an unprecedented collapse in Game 1, the New York Liberty didn’t fold. Breanna Stewart’s missed free throw to end regulation hung heavy, but she pointed to the support of her teammates as a rally for Game 2. Stewart had this to say:
Throughout this entire process, my team has my back every step of the way. I was just excited to have another opportunity to go to battle because we have a lot of fun in everything that we do.
Stewart and Co. rolled on Sunday, and I expect them to use their overwhelming star power and deep rotation to deliver a second straight victory over the Minnesota Lynx.

Napheesa Collier Over 32.5 points+rebounds+assists (-125 at bet365)
My analysis
Napheesa Collier leads all scorers in the playoffs with 25.2 points while averaging a healthy 9.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Collier has hit the Over on this line in six of nine playoff games while averaging 38 PRAs per game. She failed to do so in either of the first two games of this series, but there’s certainly room for improvement.
The Lynx superstar shot better than 50% in Game 2 on just 12 shots. Those were her fewest shot attempts since July 4 and the third-fewest of the season overall. She’ll surely be more aggressive after Sunday’s loss, with so much on the line in front of the home crowd.
Collier has been phenomenal in the playoffs, but she was great in the regular season as well. She averaged 33.5 PRAs and hit the Over in 16 of 34 appearances.
A win in Game 3 would give Minnesota a monumental 2-1 series lead with another game at home and a chance to close out the series. This isn’t Game 5, but it feels like a must-win for the Lynx.
The gravity of the moment won’t be lost on Collier, and I’m backing the Over on a prop set dangerously low based on her most recent two-game stretch.

The Liberty have shown they can dominate the Lynx, and they've done so for all but the final five minutes of regulation and the overtime period in Game 1.
New York led the league in net rating in the regular season and has done so through the playoffs thus far. I expect the Liberty to follow up their 14-point Game 2 victory with a road win in Game 3 to capture the series lead and reclaim home-court advantage.
Sabrina Ionescu has been phenomenal through the 2024 playoffs, though she’s been slowed by the Lynx through the first two games of the Finals. Ionescu has averaged 29.7 PRAs through eight playoff games and hit the Over four times.
The Liberty guard has taken a back seat in the Finals while Jonquel Jones, Breanna Stewart, and even Betnijah Laney-Hamilton have taken the spotlight. Ionescu’s performances can’t be muted for this entire series, and I expect her to step up when the lights are the brightest.
