After a brief break in the schedule, WNBA betting is back with three games on the odds board tonight.

We get a trio of non-conference clashes, with the Phoenix Mercury visiting the Connecticut Sun and the Indiana Fever welcoming the Los Angeles Sparks (7 p.m. ET) before the Chicago Sky host the Seattle Storm at 8 p.m. ET.

I scour the WNBA player props and give my best WNBA picks and predictions for May 28.

Today's best WNBA player props bets

Prop bet #1: Brionna Is Back

After working her way back into form, Brionna Jones is picking up where she left off before suffering an Achilles injury last summer.

Jones’ minutes have gone up and she’s coming off efforts of 19 and 16 points, shooting a collective 15 for 21 in those two contests. She currently ranks fifth in individual offensive rating.

The Connecticut Sun host the Phoenix Mercury, who are still missing Brittney Griner in the middle and potentially playing without 6-foot-2 forward Rebecca Allen, who suffered a concussion on Saturday.

The Mercury are 11th in defensive rating and sit third worst in points allowed to forwards. Player projections are calling for as many as 14 points from Jones tonight.

Brionna Jones prop: Over 11.5 points (-120 at DraftKings)

Prop bet #2: Power in the paint

Nneka Ogwumike attempted only 12 shots over 30 minutes in the blowout win over Washington on Saturday and still netted 19 points for the Seattle Storm. Seattle will need more buckets from her against a spunky Chicago Sky squad that just beat the Liberty and took the Sun to the limit.

Chicago’s young roster has shown fight but is soft inside and allowing a league-high 40 points in the paint per contest. The Sky have allowed foes to attempt more than 49% of their field goals from eight feet or less.

Ogwumike is extremely efficient thanks to her ability to get inside, shooting 63% from the floor and scoring an average of 14 points in the paint per game — tied for most in the league.

The pace should also be on the faster side, so expect plenty of up-and-down action, which gives more punch to Nneka going Over her scoring prop. This number is as high as 19.5 at some shops.

Nneka Ogwumike prop: Over 18.5 points (-130 at bet365)

Prop bet #3: Don't pass on Tash

It hasn’t taken Natasha Cloud much time to adapt to her new team. The long-time Mystic has become a vital part of the Mercury’s offense, recording double digits in assists in each of the past three games.

Phoenix faces a tougher defensive opponent in Connecticut tonight, with the Sun allowing the fourth-fewest assists per outing. Cloud’s assist prop is at 6.5 O/U, which seems low considering she’s at the wheel of an attack ranked No. 4 in advanced offensive rating.

The Mercury have the third-highest assist-to-FGM ratio in the league (71.3%) and player projections call for more than seven dimes from Cloud, with a ceiling of eight. She’s averaging a WNBA-best 8.8 assists through five games in 2024.

Even with market projections tempering those forecasts, I still have Cloud pegged for 7.5 assists. That should have the Over 6.5 priced in the -150 range. Some shops are as high as -125 on that option but you can find Over 6.5 assists for Cloud at -110 on Tuesday morning.

Natasha Cloud prop: Over 6.5 assists (-110 at DraftKings)
