Sky vs Lynx Predictions, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s WNBA Game

With Angel Reese now sidelined for the year, Chennedy Carter will continue to fill the stat sheet as the Sky's primary scorer and playmaker in Minneapolis.

The Chicago Sky are 2-8 across their last 10 games and clinging to a playoff spot as they visit the Minnesota Lynx.

Fresh off a blowout home loss to the Washington Mystics, Chicago will look to bounce back on the road and keep its playoff hopes alive. Chennedy Carter has been red-hot for the Sky, and my Sky vs. Lynx predictions expect another big game from the floor general as she leads her team into Minneapolis.

Sky vs Lynx predictions

My best bet
Chennedy Carter Over 25.5 points + rebounds + assists (-114 at FanDuel)

My analysis

Chennedy Carter leads the Chicago Sky in scoring this season at 17.4 points per game (tied with her career-high), and the team’s next leading scorer Angel Reese is done for the season. In fact, no other Chicago player is averaging more than 10 ppg.

Carter missed four games due to COVID-19 protocols, but she cooked in three games prior to the absence and has stayed hot since re-joining the team. Following her return to the floor, she’s averaged 19 points, five rebounds, and 4.7 dimes over three starts, good for 27.7 PRAs. She’s also hit the Over on this prop in five of her last six contests.

Chicago currently owns the final playoff spot, and the team will be looking for a bounce-back performance after getting trounced by Washington 89-58 at home on Wednesday. Carter will be leading the charge as the team’s go-to scorer and playmaker, and bettors should expect another strong performance, particularly in the wake of Reese’s season-ending injury.

To sweeten this wager, Carter has averaged 21.9 PRAs at home and 26 on the road this season. That puts her in a prime position to cash this prop as the Sky travel north to face the Minnesota Lynx. Since 2022, Carter has played just one game in Minnesota, and she racked up 20 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

At 25.5, this line is set far too low, and I'm all too happy to take advantage.

Sky vs Lynx same-game parlay (SGP)

Chennedy Carter Over 22.5 points + rebounds + assists

Under 156

Napheesa Collier to record a double-double

Carter has been on fire across her last six games played, and her PRAs line is set at a juicy number that I'm happy to use as the anchor for our three-leg parlay.

The Under has hit in both matchups between these teams in 2024 and in six of the last nine head-to-heads overall. The Sky will be without second-leading scorer Angel Reese, and Chicago’s depth chart is bereft of quality scoring options.

Reese’s absence also opens up a hole in the paint for Collier, who’s recorded 17 double-doubles on the season, including in three of her last five outings. While Kamilla Cardoso and Isabelle Harrison have played well over the Sky’s last two games without Reese, her league-leading 13.1 rebounds per game are not easily made up.

Collier’s double-double prop can be had for standard -110 odds, making it a solid final leg for our SGP.
