NBA Playoff odds have now fully finished the first round, providing plenty of excitement for fans. But now we're looking into new matchups for basketball betting, as we're into the second round of the 2020 NBA Playoffs inside the Orlando bubble.
Even though this year's playoffs are a little different than other years - both of the Eastern Conference matchups have completed two games already before the Western Conference matchups even started - we're going to break down the NBA Playoff second-round odds, with tips on how betting works and where to bet, with our NBA second-round series prices.
How does the NBA playoffs format work?
The NBA largely retained its playoff format from previous seasons: 16 teams qualified for the playoffs - eight from each conference - and faced off in an identical bracket, with seeding based on regular-season win percentage.
We're down to just eight teams remaining - four in the East, four in the West - but there are two notable exceptions to this year's playoffs:
First, obviously, is that all the action will be taking place inside the NBA Bubble at Disney World in Orlando, FL. This will largely negate the home-court advantage typically enjoyed by the higher seed (although the NBA is finding ways to help offset the effect).
Second is that the league did not wait to have all four series begin at the same time: both Eastern Conference series have already played two games (with the lower-seeded Boston Celtics and Miami Heat both enjoy 2-0 leads) while the Western matchups have both yet to start.

How to bet NBA Series prices
Betting NBA series prices is fairly straightforward, as you are just betting which team will win the series. Let’s take the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets series for example. The Lakers are listed at -300, while the Rockets are on the board at +240.
The minus (-) indicates the Lakers are the favorite to win the series and the price means that bettors would have to wager $300 on Los Angeles to win $100, while a $100 bet on the underdog (+) Rockets would return $240.
The odds listed above are in American format, but can easily be converted to decimal or fractional format via our odds converter tool.
