The thick of the Formula 1 calendar continues this weekend in Monaco, as the season reaches its seventh race where drivers will compete on arguably the most popular track of the season.
After a brutal power failure Sunday in Barcelona, Charles Leclerc is the F1 odds betting favorite to take home the victory this weekend — and our Monaco Grand Prix picks and predictions expect a great weekend from the Ferrari driver. Coming in right behind Leclerc is Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who will be looking to capture his fourth-straight victory and build on his lead for the Drivers.

Monaco Grand Prix favorites
Charles Leclerc (-300)
Since jumping out to an early-season lead with two victories in the first three races, Charles Leclerc has seen that gap disappear to the hands of Max Verstappen. The Ferrari youngster looked to have a win sealed in Sunday's race but late-race dramatics forced Leclerc to retire.
Monaco was primed for Leclerc to rebound at and he's checked the first box, taking pole position for a second straight year at his home race.
Max Verstappen (+500)
The defending F1 World Drivers' Champion continued his pattern of winning by capturing his third-straight victory over the weekend. He sits in second on the odds board to capture a fourth-straight victory, despite not only being slower than both Ferraris so far this weekend but his teammate as well.
Verstappen enters the defending winner after taking the checkered flag here a year ago.
Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz Jr. (+800)
Rounding out the Top 4 on the odds board is Red Bull's Sergio Perez and Ferrari's Carlos Sainz Jr. Perez was quickest in FP3 and looked like Leclerc's biggest challenger for pole in Saturday's qualifying before he crashed during his final push lap, red-flagging the session.

Understanding F1 betting odds
The most popular way to bet on Formula 1 odds is by simply picking the winner of a particular race. Other popular F1 betting options include which car/constructor will win and whether or not a particular race car driver will end up on the podium with a Top-3 finish.
F1 race odds usually look like this:
- Sergio Perez +1,400
This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to profit $1,400 if Perez wins that particular race. If one driver is especially dominant, you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of that driver's odds like this:
- Lewis Hamilton -175
This means that you would need to bet $175 to win $100 on Hamilton winning the race.
