Anyone have thoughts on Wright/Hopkins?

I wasn't going to play this, but since I got collared in Reno and made peanuts on the Klitchko massacre...
 
I think this is a good spot for Hopkins.  His awkward style should allow him to score the heavier shots, and Wright will have a tough time picking through Hopkins defense.  Also, I like the fact the fight is at 170, a full 10#s more than Winky is used to carrying for 12 rounds.  Judges not real keen on Winky's style, either.
 
This could be a draw, but I am going to make a small play on Hopkins.

I have no solid take on this fight and won't be playing it.  I could see viewpoints for each fighter winning.

my thought is that i have no idea who is going to win this fight...no clue at all, i can make cases for both guys winning but i cant really make a case for either guy losing

If Wright is active with his punches like he has been lately then I like him to win the fight.  Bernard is gonna have to throw more punches in this fight or the judges will give it to Winky based on activity.

I can get +114 for Bhop, and that alone may be the only reason I bet the fight.  I think there's good value at either one at + money.

Anyone see any value in the UNDER at +400 or so?  Granted, Hopkins last UNDER fight was five fights ago against De La Hoya, and WInky hasn't gone UNDER since nine fights ago from a DQ.  This one has DQ written all over it, either from Hopkins dirty tactics or Winky retaliating tactics.  I don't know, but for some reason those UNDER odds seem a bit tempting...

B-Hop actually opened at +145 over at 5dimes when they released the odds.

This is a sad day in boxing history.  The oddsmakers have finally gotten a Winky Wright / B-Hop / Jermain Taylor total correct.

The WILL GO in these matchups used to be the easiest cash in boxing.  I think the worst odds I took on any of those fights was -305 on Wright/Taylor.  Now Winky is coming up 10 pounds and they open it -500.  Gotta hate it when the books close the door on a winning angle.

I funded mine initially with a bank wire.  From looking at it now it appears that is the best method along with a wire transfer is ewalletexpress.  They go back and forth with getting around the new legislation on Western Union; I withdrew some money a couple of months ago with Western Union, but now it appears that it is no longer an option for withdrawal or deposit.

i LOVE both of these guys , 2 of my best $ in boxing were when they each (as dogs) kicked the shit out of tito

You guys betting B-Hop need to think about ir long and hard IMO. As B-Hop gets older and older he gets less and less active in fights.Why ? Probably because at 40+ he doesnt have the stamina to go all out for 12 anymore.He could have beat Jermain Taylor both times on skill alone but was not active enough to win a decision. He also was very inactive in his fight with Howard Eastman,throwing very few punches per round . He defeated a old, over the hill Antonio Tarver  in his last fight because he was going up in weight and was much faster than a drained Tarver.

Now Winky will be doing the same thing B-Hop did in his last fight, he will be going up in weight and will be the faster fighter IMO. Even if there speed and defense are about the same the simple fact is with B-Hop more than likely not being very active in this fight Winky should be able to jab himself to an easy decision . My play will be a decent sized play on Winky Wright. GL with whatever you do

I would rather listen to Hopkings talk than Winky fight and sorry if im being too harsh to Wright fans on this forum but he puts people to sleep and that aint good for boxing people!

Wright has been way more active then Hopkins in recent fights,I guess you havent watch Wrights fights but how do you see Hopkins beating him?
