Bojado was much more impressive than I expected for his being over-Weight. Maybe the proverbial light has now gone on for him? Pretty smooth nite, that he finished in the final Round, kinda seems like he just wanted to carry RC to get the work?

Friday .65 of a unit over 8.5 rounds (-130) in Castillo-Andrade 1.65 units over 9.5 rounds (-220) in Bojado-Castaneda .25 of a unit to win .97 Witherspoon-Griffis Over 6.5 rounds (+130) Berto Inside the Distance (-175) Wilaschek (-285) vs Nasir
Won a measly .25 of a unit on the night.
I must say that is the first push that I have ever had on a round prop. That shows you how volatile over/under betting can be at times, for the stoppage to fall right on the 1:30 of the mark is unreal. Their is a first time for everything.
It appears that Berto got a little test last night and some controversy struck after the 6th with the glove problem. I missed the card, but TiVO'd it, so I can't really give any first hand insight. Looks as if he got the test that I wanted for him which was to face some adversity in a fight and he passed the test winning the rounds after the KD. I shouldn't have thrown him into that small parlay, that was against my better judgment. I should have just played the Chazz over by itself; every time I have seen him he has been in bore and that was against guys who were barely club level fighters.
Castillo-Andrade went to plan. I knew the only problem may be cuts from Castillo which is why I didn't play it larger and what do you know he cut again, but they weren't a problem. I really feel bad for Martin, his skin cuts ridiculously easy and it cost him his belt already.

.10 of a unit on Lopez (+1500) vs Sahin .18 of a unit on Baldo KO/TKO/DQ (+550) (shoulder hedge) 1 unit on Forrest (+220) vs Baldomir Pending Tuesday's upset play Up 2.17 units for the week
Lopez fought pretty well for a 15-1 dog over in Germany, but close only counts in horseshoes.
Very impressed by Forrest tonight, he actually looked injury free for the first time in a long time. I like the chemistry that he and Buddy have in the corner. I am very surprised at how fresh his legs look after that much time off for a 36 year old. Not sure who is there at 154 for him to fight now as everyone is seeming to head north or back down to 147.

Up, finish the 3rd Round, & the 1:30 min. mark of the 5th. All winners; closing out a perfect week for me.
VF has some juice left in him, at least for 1 mo' fight if his patchwork body will allow for such. Some1 in the other thread had wondered out loud if Baldy was something of a 1 trick pony who caught a unfocused Zab & a very fading AG at the particular right time(s)? Baldy is tough, he took his lumps last nite, but yah; Baldy got a couple of nice Career wins that his Chin has well earned at precisely the correct moment. I'm still not sure just how fast the Viper was, or was it really how Pb-footed Baldy the catcher was? IF I'm VF's people, I pick his next fight very judiciously, as I'm unconvinced as to how many fights he has left, & how good he was last nite? Alcine or Julio or Dzinziruk any1???

Bigeiii: Nice sweep, but come on buddy what do you expect, you made
like one pick that was below -800. What did you do with that finish
the 3rd round prop, play the -2800 straight?

H no. My bank rolling pockets are not quite that deep. Threw each in w/ Hoops (WNBA, play-off time=favs winning left&right, & that interesting FIBA tourney that has been on-going, again, favs winning left&right). Funny how when you take the real $ out, you eliminate a buncha upsets. 1 Parlay is still out w/ little Chavez as the closer. But I'm obviously feel no pain on that.
B-U-T, we are now on the verge of a real live week of Boxing. Lottsa cards, & I'm real tempted to go against a possibly finished Mexican Legend. Wish I'd played that yesterday at +money. Also looking forward to both ESPN2 cards, wanna see Bobo, & I do like Pascal & how the Great White North crowds have responded to ESPN being live up there. Nice to see an audience amped up, & knowledgeable about the sweet-science. Then ShoBox has a curious match-up (mostly b/c it looks fairly even to me, might not be a great match-up but even is at least competitive).

.50 of a unit on Rossitto (+500) vs Fragomeni Final Tally: 1.67 units for the week
Nice call Bigeiii, I see your chalk won a close UD over my Italian doggie, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. I thought about playing that up also, but never pulled the trigger.
What are you thinking on the Bobo-Davis fight tomorrow night? I think I might have to ignore the hometown fave ESPN trend again against my better judgment. I have seen Davis fight twice against Koba & Guzman, and I was less than impressed. Yeah, he had a decent amateur background, but he doesn't appear to have any natural talent besides pressing the action; everything seems so forced. I even remember reading an article a while back with a quote from Shields saying that he is a hard worker, but he has to work hard to overcome his skill set. I have never seen Bobo fight, but if he has the boxing ability that his record and reads suggest I feel like he could box Davis's ears off much like Koba did from the southpaw stance when he wasn't holding.
