I can't stand the guy but there really isn't a need to flame him. Mack has been rather solid even though his behavior is often poor.

Funny I was on Malignaggi for WEEKS. Saw everyone was on Diaz so I gave it another go. Had a hard time concentrating and rewatched many rounds 2-3x. Bad day in the lab.

Thought I might have been a little hard on Mack and looked at his past picks and they were good. I thought, well maybe he's right and flopped on Diaz. Thanks Mack for helping me sway the other way. I'll be thinking of you when the GF opens her box of coal for xmas. 

I know a guy, boxing writer, former Am's talent...from Texas. He's boys with Diaz...told me to stay away from it cuz HBO is shady, but said Diaz had a great camp and good sparring. Then Diaz comes in looking like he finally hit puberty and a bit fat in the handles. Then he's fighting a shit pace. Dude was fucking out of shape.

Only good thing is I hit on Pascal, Bradley, Mir, and Penn. Still up decent for the weekend, but fell very far from my goal and pretty pissed right about now. I don't lose much, so I naturally dislike it.

Did Fullbrights quit the site? Every time I ask I get no response.

If you felt strongly and had inside info, you should have stuck with it. No need to blame Mack. Railing on someone after they apologize is rather weak. Presumably he lost a lot more than you did.

The inside info was Diaz was in shape and had a good camp and to stay away cuz HBO is shady. You'd be right if HBO had BEEN shady...but it was Diaz being fat and out of shape that lost him the fight...end of story.

Bottom line...Macks ego and that of his nuthuggers affected my pick. Last time I do that.

I agree with you. I had Malignaggi by decision in a parlay that was killed by Klit. I went against my analysis to tail Mack, but ultimately that was my decision, and loss, not his. I know you know boxing and will be back.

McNulty it's why I stopped doing really long write ups, people got influenced by my writing.. one thing I did was always say NEVER follow anyone's picks.. because it's your money and when that bell rings in the end my write up is just a write up.

It's why Paulie on points was a MIND bet for me, I just didn't trust the judges again regardless of where it was at. The way I saw it where does Paulie go from here, even though I saw him winning.. what does he does with this win?

So I talked myself out of this bet... and made it Paulie by Pts MIND bet (100 % chance of winning lol)!

Onto the shape Diaz, he usually has titties, this time he had a belly.. not just flab on his sides but a belly..

I know this may seem ODD but when a guy goes through a few losses in his life in boxing.. or turmoil.. I look for new changes in their body... usually a Tattoo (Tyson/Cotto), Hair changes (Diaz had that one), some guys come in with a full beard.. when they usually come in clean shaven.

Look at it this way.. Oscar, Mosley, Bernard, Evander, Marquez, Pac-man.. none of these men and all the other "consistent" men makes changes... besides aging and hair loss.. most respectable fighters.. who are gym rats .. never make a changes.

Odd bit of info eh? :)

Inside info was Diaz was in shape, but Diaz was fat?????  There was articles, pictures and video of his training, the weigh-in all over the internet, it isn't hard at all to know if someone is in shape or not.  Mack can be blamed for a lot of things (namely being such an a-hole) but that was isn't on him

Is a bit odd but I like it, haven't looked at it that way. Diaz just graduated college though...well his undergrad anyway, might have lost some hunger or exhaustion finally hit him.

I tried doing the same thing. I was competing in the Ams in the late 90's, but went to college instead. My stable mates [Pemberton, Oliveira, Pires] were well known pro's and I wasn't exactly excited with how their careers went/were going and how much they were making. No way could I have juggled college and a pro boxing career. Point is, that it is very strenuous.

Malignaggi has nowhere to go really. 140 is becoming a really hot division and there is no place for a Malnaggi. He was supposed to fight Alvarado before Diaz, but Mike fucked up and caught some charges. The Chinese tattoo he has translates to 'criminal'...so no need to fill in the blanks. Plus, a close friend and for Am's/Pro from CO fought Mike in the AM's and was his sparring partner for a bit so I got the inside line. Lucky for Paulie cuz I think Mike would get him.

You can still write articles and be objective Ritch. I have no problems with people doing little articles, but when you get overly subjective you lose the audience and it becomes a self serving piece of trash. I wouldn't mind actually reading a good article for cappers. It could save people a lot of time in the lab.

Mcnulty well my write-up happened when I picked Jermaine Taylor to beat Froch, some people came on and said they tailed my pick because I wrote it so nicely and seemed so confident in my pick.

I felt the need to put a disclaimer.. or something.. telling people to follow their own picks.

I love coming on here and seeing you and others on the same side as I'm thinking.. makes me feel more confident in my pick.

I agree 100 % getting overly subjective doesn't serve  the forum well.

I hope Mack continues to post, personally he needed a LOSS to get HUMBLED.

I know we did, my write up was spot on for 11 rounds and 45 seconds lol :)

Same for Clottey.

On a side note HBO will be airing on Dec 26th-30th the top 5 fights.. which I don't agree with...

Only two I agree with is Berto Collazo & Diaz vs Marquez, maybe Mosley vs Margarito not because it was a great fight.. but because Margarito for his ass beat and got what he deserved.

Marquez vs Mayweather ... and Pac-man vs Cotto doesn't belong up there.. Paul Williams Sergio Martinez does, but I guess they left it off because it was so recent people won't want to see it again?

We have a lull in boxing right now as xmas nears.. but the upsets begin when Friday Night Fights returns... Jan 8th! (I like ESPN many upsets).

and Clottey against Cotto

and I can tell you for sure, neither was the "right side"

I disagree...from the resource materials available, picking Taylor was the correct move. I don't agree Clottey was the pick...why in the hell would you pick Clottey @ Madison Square Garden? Did you NOT see the Mosley fight there? MSG is Cotto's back yard. Basics...
