This fight is going to be the same output and show as that of the DLH fight but the main difference is that Cotto is going to be stronger. Yes he will be stronger but he still is not faster than DLH. How will Cotto's power be a factor when he will not be able to hit them at the target. We have seen in the DLH fight how MP made DLH looked like a retiree even if he was not yet planning too. DLH simply cant find or hit MP in the ring. With the odds on Cotto, people will grab this with the fact that they are only relying on ONE LUCKY punch to KO Manny. On the other hand, we all know that Manny's speed, power and accuracy will have more than ONE LUCKY punch to KO Cotto. Line would have been smaller like +150 - 200 if vegas really knows Cotto had a chance. I know Cotto is not DLH but Cotto has not fought a boxer with speed not only with his hands but with his footwork also. All of his opponents are always infront of him which makes his power shots hit right on target while Manny will keep on moving all night long.

You make a lot of valid points.. But Cotto is an excellent pressure fighter who is very good at cutting the ring off unlike Oscar..
Look at the Pac Hatton fight, even though Pac destroyed Hatton. Hattons ability to cut off the ring was there, he pretty much got to Pac whenever he felt like it. So I dont think Pac will be able to dodge Cotto forever. He will eventually taste the power of Cotto. How will he take it? Who knows

MP will taste the power of Cotto with his normal punches but I am not sure if Cotto has the speed to put his power/KO shots in time for Manny's quick reflexes and footwork. But I still believe that 1 lucky KO shot can decide this match for Cotto but as for the likelihood that Manny gets out in time for that lucky shot is also great given his speed.

Its true Cotto is a flat footed fighter when he comes forward. And in order for him to put power behind his shots he must plant his feet for leverage. With Pacmans footspeed and reflexes he will be hard to hit indeed. Hence why Cotto is +220 dog.. But Cotto doesnt have to try to dig in. He is more than capable throwing quick arm punches on the tip of his toes. The type of punches that dont have too much power but are quick flicks of the arms when he punches. Kinda like what he did vs Margarito.. Im not saying Cotto is gonna win but +220 is pretty wild
