Interesting Campbell coming out last. Thought "Golden Boy" Ortiz would get the bigger billing...

Campbell will now mentally check out of this fight (I hope).

 

He was doing the right thing though, applying pressure and roughing up Ortiz and digging to the body, just not successfully.

WTF? Another iffy knockdown. Campbell can't generate any offense and he appears to have no zip on his punches and he's getting nailed coming in...

Ortiz is doing good, but he has a 'shitting-in-my-pants' look to him at times.

Ortiz is in full control, and they both know it.  Nate's left eye looks like it's getting a little fuct up.  That might help you.

Campbell looked GASSED coming back to his corner. Ortiz on his bike but I feel he could finish Nate at any point if he turned it up instead of dialing it back...

Me too Danno. I broke my golden rule and chased a big loss. Bet BIG on Ortiz and also have him in another double with Andre Ward. If he losses all My Floyd mayweather profit is gone

The last 3 rounds are a worry for me. I question Ortiz's stamina but Nate not preassuring him right now.

If Campbell had anything left, Ortiz would be in a lot of trouble.  He's lucky that Campbell is old and shot.

I agree Danno. What the hell is Ortiz doing! He is MILES ahead on the cards and he then decides he wants to get into a slugfest. Gets caught with a few decent shots..He was boxing beautiful until that round. Khan will murder this guy

Ortiz has learned how to protect a lead. I just wish he would have finished this fight long ago. There was absolutely no reason to let Campbell hang around this long...

I dont agree Walk. Nate is tough as nails (Bradley fight apart). He hasn't looked in any real trouble the whole fight...This looked a distance fight from round 3 or 4

Nate needed to take a stand and unload everything he had at some point.  He never did.  Does he have nothing left, or did Ortiz totally discourage him?  I'm guessing the first.

It depends on what you consider "real trouble." Is there really a more dangerous position to be in than getting hit with crisp shots all fight and having NOTHING coming back in return other than a head shake? There was numerous times Ortiz was wailing away on Campbell (including against the ropes) and Ortiz just backed off. There wasn't really anything negative that could have happened to Ortiz. Why give a guy additional rounds to land something big when it's their only chance? Nate couldn't throw anything big, let alone land it.

Don't think he would beat Khan?

I honestly think Ortiz is the worst of the new blood at 140.  Bradley is clearly #1 to me.  I love Alexander and Maidana right under that, second and third.  And I'd probably slot Khan fourth, ahead of Ortiz.

IF Khan had a chin Danno he would be my number 1. He is naturally the most gifted in my opinion. But I agree with your rankings
