Some of you know that i am involved with few boxers as well as promotion companies. I was just at Adamek's last fight in Poland against Wlad and had the chance to see a good friend of mine who is deeply involved with Polish fighters.
Wlodarczyk is a paper champion who won his title against Steve Cunningham (gift decision) but lost rematch and title- then fought few journeymen to get another shot at the belt against G. Fragomeni (draw then Wlodarczyk won the title in Poland)
After winning the fight his life took a turn after having serious financial problems. Then came a title defence fight against F. Palacios which of course he received a decision (but in reality he didint win more then 2-3 rounds) Wlodarczyk (watch youtube--Polish fans giving stand up ovation for Palacios and booing home fighter)
After the fight the storm just started. Media and boxing fans were all going after him, his promoter calling the fight a scandal. (video of Wlodarczyk's coach talking between rounds 6-7 asking him to give the refs a chance to score rounds for him because hes getting a big beating)
Few months ago Wlodarczyk tries to commit suicide by mixing pills (obv unsuccessful)
Bottom point- I was told from reliable source that he is traveling to Australia knowing that the belt will be staying there which he will be rewarded good $$ to cover his financial problems. This is coming from a very reliable source who is very close to his team.
-175 on Danny Green
obv this info is not coming out from boxers mouth but i am very confident about this

green is 38 and will be fighting his third fight in less than a year. he is also now fighting at cruiser when he has historically fought at lhw. he is also coming off a tko loss to tarver just four months ago.
the only angle here is the suicide/sleeping pill scandal.
if he actually did take the pills after a fight with his wife and tried to end his life, who's not to say that he has since made up with his wife and has now dedicated this fight to her.
without the suicide story, how is danny green a -175 after coming off a tko loss and having only two fights at cw, both unimpressive showings.

His wife left him with kids before suicide attempt. Guy is broke. Fought the Palacios fight for free. Didn't touch a penny. What woman will stick around with a broke celebrity.
I am playing this fight based on the info that i received. That the fight outcome is done before it even started.

not trying to sell you guys anything just going by what i was told. With my luck it will prob go the other way.
First off, thanks for the information. I never found anything of note that his wife left him or that he was broke. When ssm's wife left him, he subsequently went on to give margo a severe ass-whooping. Not saying that this is the case here but you are laying negative odds with a guy who is coming off his first tko loss after stepping up a weight class. This just four months ago. Also, if Kryzstof is indeed broke, that may give him more motivation to win for future fights. After all, he is only 30 years old and has not been in many wars. IMO, everything equals out here and the only advantage that Green has is the venue.
Again, thanks for the post as I am always looking for any angles that may give me an advantage. I just dont see any here.

Qncyk, you've haven't been around that long, so let me explain. Luke has verified ties to several well known fighters. In fact, he's even given tickets to live events to a couple of guys from the forum. He wouldn't post something like this without a reason.
One of the great things about boxing forums (especially ones with a gambling twist) is that you'll meet a lot of guys deeply connected to the sport. This isn't a typical post from Luke, so I'm certainly believing what he is saying. There wasn't anything YOU could find about this topic, because you don't have access to this type of information.
When something like this is presented to you, respect it. One of the biggest advantages of wagering on boxing/MMA is that there is a lot one can only get from behind the scenes. I've been involved in a few fights similar to this one. In short, it's a business before all else.

I did show my appreciation and respect for LuckyLuke. Green has already been in a fight against Briggs that was controversial and subsequently investigated. Wlod is a former IBF and WBC champion(albeit paper) that has been competetive against Cunningham twice, both at CW. Green was recently TKO'd at CW(onnly his second fight) just four months ago. If Wlod does not lay down, which is the entire premise of this bet, the fight appears to be even money to me.
I am not betting on this fight and simply giving my opinion.
Again, thanks for the info LuckyLuke.

Qncyk- I totally understand your view point. In reality it is very hard for me to bet against my countrymen and (even with this information i am not going crazy) I consider this a valid tip but am i not willing to put my house on the line. No way.
I am not here to convince anyone to bet thousands on this. It's a forum dedicated to boxing fans. I am here to share something that i find worth the type.
Thanks for the support guys. best of luck to all.
btw-Walk---i might have some extras for Cotto vs Margarito 2 (of course my man Wolak is fighting his rematch on the card as well) will confirm within few days. you want to take the trip to NYC for this one?

Thanks for the offer Luke. This time of year is killer for me, no free time. I appreciate the offer, but can't make it. Hopefully we'll hook up sometime in the future.

Curtis- when i get them in hand (hopefully not to close to fight night-which will leave me some time to mail them out) I will make a post about it and give it to the member that's been @ covers for the longest (for the one that wants to go) figured that would be very fair.
Walk-no biggie -to tell you the truth sometimes i enjoy it more on HBO listing to Larry and the clan then being out there btw thanks for the Kirkland link. would of been very upset if i didn't watch that one.

Do you have any concern that the line has closed somewhat? Green is down to -150. To the extent that this information seeps at all, I'd expect the line to move the other way.
