Almost everything you said is correct, but I think he just wants Manny to go away. What I mean is after JMM KO'd Manny, he got out of the fight without even breaking a sweat, but even JMM said they need to fight (ironically he doesn't want to fight Manny either). Also JMM told Floyd to take down the KO picture down, because he thought it was disrespectful. But now they are both out of fights that could be close, so if they don't fight it will be against hand picked easy opponents (that's what promoter's do).
Floyd doesn't really want the fight or it would have already happen (since he's the shot caller).
The good news is that 2015 looks to be a good year for fight fans, I've already seen several fights that I can't wait to see, so when they don't fight it won't be that bad.
