Just remember....... Claiming horses rarely beat Allowance horses. Cotto has a huge edge in class.
If you play the ponies...I'd take a hot claimer doing well then an allowance horse that hasn't been showing anything. All Cotto has shown recently is like nutty said a period of decline since the plaster glove incident. In the Clotty fight he was cut up pretty bad and then clotty stopped fighting. I really don't know why Clottey does that. He did that 4 twelve rounds vs pac man. But the point here is take the up and comer. I really doubt that Cotto is there mentally either.

How much head trauma do horses sustain in an allowance race?
I think you might have missed my point. I STRICTLY was pointing out that Cotto has fought the MUCH BETTER competiton, so OF COURSE he has absorbed more punishment. Foreman has fought practically no one of Cotto's level.

What is Cotto's level now? Do you think it's the same as three years ago, when he beat Mosley? If it is, then he should beat Foreman. If it's not, he could be in trouble. Let's not forget, Pacquiao's team turned down a Foreman fight because Roach said he's too tall. Cotto is a shrimp, and I don't see how Foreman's height won't be a problem for him.
