Question

What kind of day will we have - could if even be possible for PAC/ money and Canelo / cotto on the same weekend , HBO vs SHO , one fight in Vegas , one in NY (Canelo would object to that locale no doubt)  anything short of Floyd and Manny would elevate   Cotto / Alvarez to top billing in the eyes of most fans , everybody wants May 2nd -  The only thing for sure is nc1 will be in Vegas for the derby that day and hopefully a historic night of boxing as well that night -  How do you guys see the day playing out -

If May/Pac actually happens then I don&#x27;t see Cotto /Canelo happening on the same date in two different place. Cotto and Manny both use Roach. Thats the reason Cotto didn&#x27;t fight this month because of Manny&#x27;s farce of a fight with Algeri. I could see it being moved (Cotto/Saul) to the 13th of June in NY ( day before Puerto Rican Day Parade) if that happens so Cotto could have Roach to himself. Roadblock to May/Pac(besides the he said, she said) popping up already is Arum saying that May 2nd is Canelo&#x27;s date. Arum was working behind the scenes to try and get that fight made. Cotto could decline that deal and force it to NY and that date he is the champ afterall and it would be for his belt.

Seems like cotto holds the keys , Canelo anxious to sign on dotted line ahead of cotto possibly signing for Floyd - leaving manny and Canelo on the outside looking in - Canelo / cotto finalizing for may 2 would have Floyd&#x27;s camp scrambling - however it shakes out something has to get done fairly soon for promo sake , ad sales , that stuff

&#xD;&#xA;   Funny how a guy that already lost to both Manny and Floyd is in this position. &#xD;&#xA;Just make the damn fights already, what takes months to work out. Fighters need to have the Sergey Kovalev approach (how quick and easy the BHop deal got made).  None of the four fighters who could fight on May 2 have fought in a while and by the time May rolls around it will be almost a year for Canelo and Cotto.

Why else would cotto pass on lucrative payday with Canelo unless there was a bigger , better option available, by signing on with cotto Floyd can turn back manny and leave him wishing , also that would take 5-2 date away from Canelo , this scenario works for Floyd all 3 ways

Refute manny - again

Dictate to Canelo - who is the big fish in ponds and controls dates

Beat cotto by moving up in weight and further cementing his legacy

Would think the dominos will start falling in place soon - if you have other opionions please share

I really hope people are bright enough not to buy that PPV if he doesnt make it happen with Pacquaio. All this money that he loves to show off with, you made it off these people who support you but you refuse to give them the fight they deserve &amp; have been asking you for ages. If he doesnt sign, he will forever be remembered as a Coward, as it is clear Pacquaio has agreed to all the conditions &amp; credible sources have confirmed this.

Seems like Mayweather vs Cotto 2 is coming, both Canelo and Manny agreed to all the demands and both Floyd and Cotto are dragging their feet. They just used Canelo and Manny as pawns to get more money and duck/ snub them.

Bottom line if he ducks Manny after Manny agreed to everything, he's scared. I'm not paying $79 for Mayweather vs Cotto 2, PPV's were terrible last year, most cards didn't have 1 KO, this fight has 12 round marathon, I mean decision written all over it.

So we get screwed now, the fans, Mayweather vs Cotto, Canelo vs ?, Manny vs Probably Vargas, three turds in the punch bowl that I won't drink.

Ill go up to about - 160 or so for floyd by UD vs cotto - hockey and nba playoffs that day to but floyd / cotto is pretty much yawn inducing , floyd keeps his distance from the heavier and slower cotto and grinds his way to a snoozefest of a win ??

Just read Canelo is going to fight James Kirkland, should be good as long as it last. That pretty much means Floyd will be fighting Cotto. Would rather watch Canelo / Kirkland on HBO, than pay to watch Floyd anyway.

this is getting good - i would love to see canelo stare down floyd and go head to head om 5-2 on hbo while floyd and cotto go showtime -PPV would be dismal for floyd under that scenario and in effect canelo would be fighting back Texas Red in the derby standing strong there??

All the PPV&#x27;s I ordered in the last year and half have sucked for the most part, so I won&#x27;t pay for them unless there is a REAL super fight (Mayweather/ Pacman, Cotto/ Canelo) or all action fight GGG/ Chavez/ Froch (any 2).
