De La Hoya dictates the tempo in Round 1, but Mayweather connects on the cleaner shots. SI CARD: 10-9 Mayweather

Big second round for De La Hoya. I don't know what the strategy is in Mayweather's corner, but allowing Floyd to be pushed against the ropes shouldn't be it. Mayweather looks a little tight. SI CARD: 10-9 De La Hoya

ROUND 3
Oscar seemingly can control the tempo of this fight. De La Hoya was excellent with the jab and landed a couple of potent power punched. SI CARD: 10-9 De La Hoya

every round is split on espn but they keep giving maywehter it on the scorecard.  fuk espn.

Lead left hook lands flush from Oscar, and more lefts cause Floyd to go backward. Strong overhand rights from Floyd. Oscar lands repeated punches to Floyd's body in the corner. Another good overhand right from Floyd. Oscar lands big left hook against ropes at the bell to steal the round.

yeah the ESPN commentators seem split, scoreboard is maybe based on the computer punches?  Either way I think PBF's conditioning is second to none, if it is close he will have the advantage in later rounds.

Oscar took some shots that round. Nothing huge, but some solid hits for sure.

if this fight stays close Oscar will win it.  The crowd will influence the judges just like in his fight agains "sweat pea" Wittaker.  Wittaker won 8 of the 12 rounds on my card and everyone else's too, and yet Oscar got the decision.  That is one of the main reasons that I didn't bet on this fight.  Oscar has "won" several fights that he really lost.

Tremendous defense by De La Hoya. Floyd's jabs are getting nowhere near Oscar's head and De La Hoya's counterpunches are finding their mark. Right now, De La Hoya is the more active fighter. SI CARD: 10-9 De La Hoya

Good round for both.Tough to call with some of thesee rounds. Over the long haul Mayweather will have more energy though and should win
