How could the "will not go the distance" NOT be a good bet here??
PacMan is going to be in "seek and destroy" mode right from jump street, so if he can't get Chris outta there then that means Chris has the possibility of wearing down Pac, most likely from a steady diet of 1-2s..and scoring a late stoppage, OR even forcing PacMan to even quit!!!
In any event, Fight will not go the distance.

I think we are going to see a different Pacman on lower weight division... 140lbs is ideal weight for him I agree with Roach...we will see if Manny of old will be back this time

Please stop it there is 0% chance algerie will stop PAC man. 100% pacquio gets the win. I do think pacquio will get a chance for the stoppage algerie is not in his class. I like the kid but he is getting f@cked up.

I won't be surprised one bit if this goes the distance. He went 12 with Provo for christ sake. He hits harder than Manny. Provo did to Bradley what Pac couldn't do - knock him down and hurt him repeatedly. And Algieri took Provo's best shots.

You kinda make a good argument agains the "will not go" but I don't see the Provodnikov connection here. Other than the fact he landed cleanly on both the aforementioned guys. To me it just speaks volumes about Provo.
Frankly I'm not surprised he connected on Bradley cause Bradley couldn't help but want to trade with Provo, like the dummy he is, and it nearly cost him (arguably).
Provo catching Chris is something else. Either Provo is that good, or Chris isn't as elusive as I think.
In this case Manny COULD catch Chris, but Manny is no Provo..as evidenced by the Bradley fights.
Standing pat with Chris or the will not go..
Peace..

I played the Under 9.5 rounds for small play.I personally didn't think Chris won the Provo fight.Chris got knocked down early in the fight. He is very nice young man,but I give him no chance surviving this fight. Its not a big play ,but enough to play the under.I was watching a clip they asked Pacmanwhat he thought of getting the Mayweather fight....Chris was sitting next to Manny.. His facial expression was priceless....This white boy ( I'm as white as they come)doesn't have a shot in this fight...No HOW NO WAY...if I'm wrong it wouldnt be the first or least.

Easy to look HALF decent vs a one dimensional come forward slugger who absolutely CAN'T adjust 2nd half of the fight.
I know, I watched the Provo fight again.. I don't know how Chris survived. It's probably because of his conditioning, as his cruise control pace is pretty high octane and steady.. so as other fighters (such as Provo) get tired, Chris maintains a rock-solid pace and allows him to land punches as opponent's defenses wane..
So confused.. LOL...

Algieri... Well, I've only seen him once (vs. RUSLAN) and I wasn't impressed and thought it could have been a questionable decision in his favor. Moving forward, PAC will have to chase this guy down. Chris will definitely try and work his jab and circle out of counter flurries. With that said, Chris won't be able to land clean power shots unless he plants his feet, but he runs so much that it isn't possible. PAC MAN by UD....
