nuttyrich I have never seeing anybody be so wrong so many times about a topic. The more you talked in this thread, the deeper your foot went into your mouth.
This is what happens when people who know absolutely nothing about boxing open their mouths.

I think way to many people ignored some major facts regarding Cotto. He fought a war against a cheater, and he took no break or soft fights. He took on Manny and got crushed (more than likely he was only still 90% and 75% psychologically prepared). He went toe-to-toe with Clottey who is a beast and with a bad eye (he was lucky that Clottey hurt his knee as that was more significant than the cut). All this was in just over a year. Three major bouts that take years off a fighter in a short time period. Taylor simply had stamina issues since the first Pavlik fight where he claimed although he was hurt, he ran out of gas. Taylor did impress me with one fight in the past few against Lacy. He had Lacy hurt (practically every round) after landing a 1-2 combo, but he fought smart and stayed disciplined and conserved his energy for an easy win. Against Froch who was relentless he had no choice but to fight back and you see what happened. I'm still disgusted how Winky cried about getting robbed against Taylor. Winky... look in the mirror, your face was tore up. Taylor fought a bad strategic bout allowing Winky to corner him and unload, but when the fight was center ring Taylor was faster and stronger. Winky being a class act I was surprised at his statements and attitude. Against Williams (that was a great value fight) he just stated the Williams was to fast and active to counter. That was a fight tailor made for Williams. You have a defensive fighter (not a big puncher, average speed and just a great technician). Williams offensive output was a great defensive as Winky couldn't match speed, output, and Williams reach. I bet Williams huge, and bet over, parlayed and even Williams to win by decision. My only concern was a cut or swelling, but I bet enough just on Williams the others were just thick icing!!!
