Walktheline, I totally agree with your insight here. I watched the Pavlik/Taylor fights and was impressed by Pavlik's raw talent vs Taylor, but not particularly with his power. It seems like he got several lucky shots in on Taylor and the Jermain just didn't matchup well at all against Kelly. Now on the otherhand, I do have a little bit of bias towards Hopkins, because I've been a lifelong fan of his. Hopkins gave Calzaghe all he could muster in that fight and I thought he should have gotten the split decision to go his way. He actually landed a clean shot that knocked Calzaghe down and dominated several rounds in my opinion. This guy is just so seasoned and such a veteran fighter that he could get in the ring with just about anybody his weight and stand a fair chance. When I looked at the line, I just couldn't believe the hype was that great for Pavlik. Seeing Hopkins as a +355 underdog just made me wonder why he isn't getting any recognition or respect here. Sure age is a big deal in boxing and Hopkins is nearly 20 years his senior, but that could also be an advantage with experience as this fight treads into deep waters. Most opinion's out there are that this fight will go the distance; I'm not sure if it will but if it does I think that favors Hopkins. Sometimes it's just how well you matchup against an opponent. And in this circumstance I truly believe Hopkins will come out victories and it will put a seal on his Hall of Fame boxing record.

You look like a stinking genius. Unreal stuff so far.
You know better than anyone - sometimes your flush sometimes your bust. Tonight was my "lucky" night. I will lose it all tomorrow on the Steelers over 35 and San Fran +10.5...
