Boring weekend that's for sure, plus a lot of cancellations on top of that. I like Escalante a good bit tonight, his chin will always be a worry, but Lock doesn't really drop bombs. I think he is really coming into his own and looked great the last couple of times out. Based on the movement it seems like Lock has plenty of backers, maybe I'm in the minority.
.75 of a unit on Escalante ITD (+110) .75 of a unit on Escalane ITD (+100)
1 unit parlay to win 3 units Escalante (-260) Seldon-Oquendo Under 8.5 (-160) Acosta-Antillon Under 7.5 (-175) Moses (-700)

Do either Escalante or Lock have any real knockout power? The over/under on this one is 8.5 and you're getting 1.56 to 1 on Under whereas you're only getting 1.36 to 1 on Escalante

Inside the distance means anything under 10 rounds.
Basically, the expected scores must be 8 or 9 favored for Escalante on each judge. So like 100-90, 99-91, 99-91 - on the 3 cards would mean Escalante -26. That line blows.

I really like the Seldon-Oquendo Under I also parlayed Antillon-Oquendo-Moses
Good luck!
Appreciate it man.
Yeah, pretty rough result on the Oquendo fight. What a time for Seldon to actually show some balls and screw us. Just reading the recap with him being down in the seventh and the eighth, you sure would have thought that It would have been stopped before the 9th round. What a joke.

Tough break on the ITD FB. Hope you weren't watching live, Escalante came up about one combo short five or six times.
Parlay looks solid though!
Yep, that's the type of fight a bettor would have been much better off not watching live. I thought for sure it was ending soon after the 3rd and a few more times from there on out. The problem was Escalante would wait to late in the round to really amp up the energy and Lock would just try to survive till the bell. These are the types of losses that just eat at you even if it's not for much. If you would have told me before the fight that Lock loses every round, is down twice in one, and gets completely dominated I would have given you +1200 that he makes it the distance. Where is Buddy McGirt when you need him?

Has anyone seen Rubillar's weight or photos from the weigh in? Everything I've seen online says that people were waiting for him to show up hours after everyone else. Perhaps he had difficulty cutting weight taking the fight on short notice.
Even without this seemingly going against Rubillar, I think he's basically hand picked and the way Segura fights, I see Giovanni Segura winning early. It doesn't hurt that he has Margarito's trainer now. I will be playing the under if bodog ever puts up a line.
I've never thought much of Antillon, and while I've never seen Acosta, I think it's possible he could be worth touching at long odds. Antillon creates plenty of opportunities to be countered and hurt.

My mantra last night watching Escalante was "stop headhunting and start with the body". He clearly lost focus after the two knockdowns, every time he touched Lock downstairs you could just see Lock's wheels stop turning.
As good as Escalante looked, Beranza probably stole the show. One of those "only in boxing" kind of moments.

Yeah I haven't seen any photos of Rubillar weighing in either. You have to imagine it would have to be a slight challenge to get down to the weight, but he has been getting some good sparring over the past couple of months and staying busy. I see Segura putting on a show tonight.
I don't know about betting Acosta even at the attractive odds, he's been down before against far less opposition and Antillon is tough as nails. He may give Acosta some openings, but I see him breaking him down around 5 or 6.

Your right. It should have been as obvious to Escalante as it was to us. Every time he went to Lock's body it was glaring how uncomfortable he made him feel.
Yeah, I was glad to see Bergman get the well deserved win. I don't know about you, but I was still very leery of those cards going into the announcement.
