Prescott is was landing some amazing body shots. I do think Teddy has it a bit lob sided.  78-73 is crazy.

I have it even after 8 and  round 9 a toss up.  He does seem to be fading though (out of gas) one round left.. I would think he needs to win this round for a draw or maybe eek out a victory..

Weird how good Teddy Atlas.. is very good at breaking fights down, but somehow he always goes haywire.. and one wonders if he has money invested in this fight because he dismissed all the good shots Prescott has landed.

My final card is 96-93 Vazquez.

Hopefully the 1st round didn't stick in the judges memory bank.

Teddy's scorecard is ridiculous, I think Vazquez won a narrow decision but to give him the last 9 rounds is insane.

I have it a draw a gift if Prescott gets the win by a point.


I think Teddy and Joe were stuck on "live dog" as they kept on harping the whole night.. and were on Vazquez Jock after round 2, saying Vazquez dominated after round 1.. was outright crazy.. he didn't take control until round 5 and really did well in round 6. Remember 10-8 round.

Prescott landed very good body shots, and for 5 rounds Vazquez looked terrified and was backing up... landed some shots but nothing solid.

Prescott looks pretty good to me, he needs to learn you cannot just KO everyone.. which he may have learned tonight.

Wow 97-92 that judge had money invested in Prescott! .. LOL.. It was a good fight. The one judge had it right by 1 point. Personally fight could have been a draw or a point either way.

It all depends on what fight style you like, but would like to see a rematch but not likely on espn2.

Good call glad you cashed in, who do you like tomorrow..? Think Khan can pull this one out? I see it as a very TOUGH fight.

Amazing body shots?  Hard blows to the hip in the clinch is more like it.  I didn't have it a white wash, but I definitely didn't see any amazing body shots.

I have a hundo on Kotelnik ITD.  Very hard to trust Khan moving up in weight with his chin and in against the best fighter he has faced to date.

Well you had money invested lol.. I know what I saw, but regardless it was a good fight.

Vazquez was patient and deserved it in the end. I feel he gave away a lot of rounds being tentative early. I like how he turned it on later on (Vazquez).

Prescott was using good defense and a good jab early on, he did abandon it, but I think for ESPN 2 .. it was a good fight.

Yes good point he didn't take a punch well.. at his other weight, moving up .. maybe doesn't seem like a big deal but not many mention it.

What I took from this fight and the Khan fight .. and what I've seen of Kotenlik  they BOTH Prescott and Kotenlik have a GOOD left Jab that will pose troubles on Khan.

Weird last week they kept saying.. Vic was moving up in weight when he fought at 118  .. eight times.. yet really don't mention Khan and his chin are moving up.

 good job y"all... that vasquez by desision looks wonderful right now mr eldorado, havent heard from you before but nice pick....I didnt see the fight but i saw bradies face and he looked beat....I saw teddies card, which he is usually off big time but its still a live card and i was shitting brick on the sd........

I agree money can skew a view, but I think that I do a pretty good job of putting biases aside when scoring a fight and fights that I have scored in the past on here would reflect that

Maybe your definition of amazing body shots is far different then mine, but I don't recall any that fit that description.  He went to the body a lot in the clinch to the hip area, but I didn't see any body work that would have caught a judges eye.

Yes you did do a good job of being very fair.. very hard to do when money is involved.

I guess the word amazing was over done  because the way teddy Atlas was so biased.. and he didn't acknowledge anything Prescott was doing, wasn't like Prescott didn't look very good early on.

We were doing in fight, I let Teddy and Joe  drive me to so "amazing" lol.. because they had it in for Prescott.. don't know why .. it was a good fight.. basically  two halves of a fight  I had Prescott early.. and Vazquez coming on especially after the 5th.

i am on khan myself but not at that ridulous -250 line....i hit it at      -185 were i would have recommand hittin it at.....but since i won so much today im kinda skeptical....if khan line continues to go up and it will i will be on kotelnik itd a small amont....the distance fight favors khan easily as he is quicker and has more movement.....actally khan may hit a tad harder too but not as powerful as everyone thinks....if khan had a proven chin then everyone would be on khan....

 

here is tommorrow special.....i call it the adjaho special cause the only way it loses is if this fighter fucks himself.....

I don't think that Sierra fight is happening.  According to fightnews today he weighed in against his opponent Rene Fernandez.

If Khan had a "decent" chin he would be a good pick. Sadly a chin is one thing that no trainer or boxer can fix. Add on top of that KHAN does like to get very aggressive when he's hit.

I know that's the main thing Freddie Roach is working on, but hard to take the brawler out of a guy, he's only 22 so maybe he can learn to not be over aggressive, one cannot afford to be reckless.. when the chin is very weak.

Seems like the one way to go is Khan by decision and Kotenlik by ko or itd...

Yep, Teddy goes to extremes.  When he starts going one way for a fighter in terms of scoring it's like he gets in a zone where he ignores anything the other guy is doing right.
