when was the last time winky was in the ring? was it against Hopkins? Anyways Paul Williams needs to build up his stamina, cuz last time watching him fight for all 12 rounds, he looked like he just gave up.

I thought Winky's attitude after the draw was suprising, he acted like he dominated the fight, I though he would have had a much more mature attitude. By facial appearances, he looked quite beat. Before hitting the tapes, I still feel that Williams will be able to work the body early, and his respect for Winky's power won't be as much as one would think. He hasn't knocked out anyone in over 7 years. Williams is a fighter who will listen to his corner, make adjustments, and keep his control... very impressive for a young fighter with so much offensive ability to work a game plan and not just go out to KO his opponent, he seems more content to break-down his opponent. That's an attribute many fighters in their 30's finally learn, and it's why you have so many fighters of that age that are over 30 years old, and just 15 years back was considered over-the-hill in terms of age. Maturity has really shown growth to boxing, and as long as you don't abuse your body, or have been in too many toe-to-toe battles, you can have long and successful career. Although, I still wouldn't recommend the sport to anyone, the constant head trauma plays a big toll in the short and long term effects. I'll be back with a post after I watch the replays, and if they ever post a betting line!!!

You're telling me, this is bullshit. . . 5Dimes has shit posted before the fights are even set in stone all the time (Haye/Klitschko line was posted 3 days before contract, and Mayweather/DLH 2 lines were posted well before the papers were signed).

if paul williams is on the -160 to -200 range he is going to get lit up with action....Winky's inactivity will promote the betting as well as the fact that the media believes he is the most feared fighter in boxing.......way to low...I say -280 williams +240 winky

I was high on Williams once I heard about this fight, but the more I keep thinking, the more I believe Winky knows something we all don't. Just the fact that there isn't a tune up fight, and he's walking right into someone no one wants to fight should make everyone scratch their head. . . it's not like Paul is a major payday, or a big name to the public to get the attention. I see no other reason for taking this fight unless Winky knows it's one he can win.
