Pacman landed more punches 176/578 to Marquez 138/435. Pacman landed more power punches 117 to Marquez 100. Pacman was the aggressor throughout the fight and most of the rounds are close which, give the aggressor the edge.
Majority in the crowd are Marquez fans and every punches than that misses or blocked got a cheer from the crowd. Thats why people thinks Marquez won that fight.

Compubox is notoriously flawed. Those stats are bullshit. Your theory of the "crowd pops" is also flawed.
Let me explain something that you aren't aware of..
When a fighter executes his game plan and fights HIS fight, that fighter is winning. When a fighter lands the bigger, cleaner shots, that fighter is winning. When the crowd boos the opponent loudly when you lose, you won the fight. When everyone in the general public feels you won the fight, you won the fight.
Marquez won the fight.

Marquez won the fight.
Public viewers just see one angle of the fight, thats why there are three judges to see all the angles of the fight to decide who won the fight.

This fight was a classic fight in which no one expected the underdog to compete much and when they were faced with the possibility of Pacquiao loosing, they had to figure out a way to give him the fight. Marquez may have been going back for most of the night, but he still fought his fight. This was his plan. Counter-punch the hell out of Pacquiao, which is why he should have gotten the decision. Also, compubox stats do not tell the whole story. Watch the fight, score the fight without any bias and you will see that Marquez clearly won the fight. Before the fight, I thought there is absolutely no way that Marquez can win a decision, but through the fight, I thought, there is no way they can rob him off this decision, and they did anyway. Awfully hard to win a decision when the next fight that is looming can break all the records in boxing money wise. Boxing is like any other sport, except it is more blatant about getting things done.
All about the chase

You and everybody else including the judges are looking at one angle of the fight only. It's so tricky, because what you can see is only in front of you, but you can't see the other side because it's block by the boxers, you don't see if he also connected, The reason why there are three judges, so that they can see all the angles of the fight and decide the outcome. Compubox has all the angles of the fight.

Do you have any idea how dumb you sound? The judges literally see one angle. Viewers have about 20. Also, please don't imply I don't know how to score a fight. It's pure ignorance, much like your view on Compubox.

you are an experienced boxing handicapper.
and as an experienced boxing handicapper, you should know that any close decision fight preceeding a huge money fight(Pac/PBF) will always go where the money is.
manny is money.
jmm is not.
this fight was nowhere near as flagrant as sturm/DLH.

That's exactly what I said in another thread. It's on par with that fight, but maybe not as flagrant considering that the Hopkins fight was literally signed at that point I believe. If it wasn't signed, it was all but completed.

If the judges sit together, they are seeing one angle. If not they are seeing different angles. Compubox is more accurate than your naked eye. What more if you're 30 meters away from the ring.

I was about 30 meters or so from the ring and am here to tell you Marquez won 10 rds. Also I had a brief encounter with Arum at The Wynn last night and he definitely seemed rattled and subdued about the way it turned out.

Roach and Pacquiao both acted like they lost until the decision was read. Roach told Pacquiao to knock him out and put him on his ass different times during the fight.
Can't always go by stats because fights are judged on a round by round basis. You score the round and not who u think landed the most punches in the whole fight.

I've never heard anything more broad than what you just said. If a fighter executes his game plan, then he wins the fight? Isn't that a given since the objective is to train for a fight and win? Of course, a fighter has to have a game plan entering the fight and he is obviously going to pursue it. I never knew "booing" was such an important statistic among fighting competitions. I guess fighters can lose even before they lose the fight! If "everyone in the general public feels like you won the fight, you won the fight".... what? What does that even mean? "Everyone" and "general" is pretty contradicting, don't you think?
So here's what I understood from your post....If I like a fighter (will cheer for him to win and watch with a bias) and he executes his game plan, despite getting beat in the box score, he won the fight!

Not contradicting at all. Booing a statistic? Not hardly, but it an obvious way to get a consensus opinion on the fight. You're talking in circles..
Getting beat in the box score? Are you talking about the subjective scoring or the subjective "punch stats?" How hard is it to understand that JMM landed the cleaner, harder shots and dictated the fight to Pacquiao far more often than not?
Listen to these folks, they're wrong too....

100% = Finally I see what I've been saying for many years. I even posted Oscar losing to Sturm because it was contingent on a mega PPV with Hopkins. A thought in many people's minds is "Anyone who saw Oscar vs Sturm knows that Oscar lost and is no match for Hopkins." Thus is true for serious boxing fans but we are the minority. Mega PPV events are "mega" because you get the average person who doesn't follow boxing but watches the most hyped events (similar to NFL: How many people watch the Superbowl that watched more than one game not including MNF? More than 90%, same with Boxing, World Cup Final Game, Olympics, etc...). All the average person will hear after he orders a major event (boxing) was that a fighter (Oscar, we were using him) had a close controversial last fight... THE END! Golden Boy Promotions did a masterful job of taking over-the-hill well known publicly ex-champions and matching them against an equal opponent but hyping it as a long shot. Now people watch or hear about the upset (that was a 50/50), and now the past-prime fighter gets to fight a real prime champion and they hype it as an even fight because he is on a comeback. Then you order $59.99 or more fight that is a complete wipe-out and only serious boxing fans who watch under-cards and enjoy boxing despite a non-competitive fight that get any value from it. Regardless of people claiming boycott, it's irrelevant because the serious boxing fan is less than 1% of Mega PPV, as the recreational somewhat knowledgeable fan is less than 10%, and the rest are people who don't know what weight classes the fight is happening except if it was heavyweight. Unfortunately the bigger guys (that pound for pound or out skilled in every area even boxing IQ) get the big cash except for Manny's and Floyd's of boxing. Less than 1/10th of 1% get the Mega-Money, 1% get big money, 2% earn a living, and the rest starve. Unfortunately companies don't endorse boxing (even MMA get's more sponsors, but not for huge money) and many times if they did, often their is a conflict of interest (like a boxer endorsing beer or a substance that is negative to athletes). Also, most boxer's don't have longtime spotlight as the elite fighter, MMA fighters regardless of losses still remain popular.

manny is money.
jmm is not.
this fight was nowhere near as flagrant as sturm/DLH.
not even fucking close.
Compubox is utter horseshit
