Sultan Ibragimov is beatable in my book. But does "V" have enough left to catch lightening in the proverbial bottle one more time???
This Saturday nite in the Khodynka Ice Palace of Moscow, we find out, inside of the land of the CCCP's, dolls that live inside, well...other dolls, dictators that have continents for birthmarks, Ivan Drago, and Voooooo-da-ka. Sultan is a Lefty, he has some Power. But he's not a Klitschko super-heavyweight Heavyweight either. Nor does he have a real Heavyweight Reach. EH has the Reach edge in fact, he has the Experience edge, ditto Resume`. In fact....."V" has as many Title bouts as Sultan has bouts. Ever heard of that?
"V" is in shape, you may bet your life on that. His shoulders excuse
or explanation ('pending on your POV) for his awful showings from 2002 to 2004, holds just a little more H20 with every win. I went against him in the first 3, went o for 3, then got back on the Lou fight. But he is only 6 days removed from being 45. That's a lot of wear&tear, I don't care how many Wheaties you eat.
I thought Holy' would be stretched by whomever & outta boxing by now, but "V" has won 4 in a row, vs. legible competition. Is that enough to upset Sultan? Holy is nearly a +350 underdog. NEVER thought I'd type this, but I'm taking a long hard look at those odds on "V". He just might do this, then fight Wald in a mega comeback of all-time PPV, & end up like the guy on the left in this pic...but he just might win this Saturday.
