Its not dumb shit........I said i doubt he wins not okay Green is going to win and win easy....Hanicapping is all about finding value in a fight.....At the -600 i see no value in Green who is only that much of a favorite because he blames his health on his perfomance against Miranda.....In reality Leon is a banger and fights to the best of his ability....Green is the opposite...If your expecting a huge mismatch, I believe your in for a surpise.....To win $500 on $100 is a great value..

Did you feel the score was correct? I had Corey up by 3 points.

Latimore doesn't understand boxing, when interviewed he said if the fight was 114-113 I should have received the victory, because of the knock down.  I can only think he was thinking the refs didn't give him a 10-8 round? I don't understand his logic, why would a 114-113 fight go his way because of a knock down, from round 3 he didn't win a round until the 10th when he regained some stamina.

This is why I say styles make fights, at the intro they announced Spinks as a man on the decline and Latimore a man on the rise. They went on to say Corey Spinks hasn't won a fight in 2 years, well he Fought Jermaine Taylor VERY well, and Verno Phillips Fight was a toss up which Spinks could have won, until later in the fight it was a good bruising fight!

Why would ANY manager of a fighter who doesn't have any real boxing rounds under his belt pick Corey Spinks to fight? Corey is no world beater but Corey even at 31 has good speed, can roll punches, and can make anyone LOOK BAD.

A boxer who only went 8 rounds once and 10 rounds once, why would you pick a fighter like Corey Spinks who almost definitely will make it go ALL 12. Bad managing in my view, never take an experienced true technical boxer against a raw unproven talent that has never been truly tested.

People say Corey Spinks is boring, I've seen him againsy Zab Juddah twice in what was 2 great fights and Verno Phillips was pretty good,.He doesn't have KO power, but he will slug with you.

I had to laugh for Corey Calling out Mayweather lol! Was a good one!

Donny McCary had Alan green severely HURT he was almost OUT dropped him badly, luckily Green survived that round then went on to TKO Donnie. Donnie was his sparring partner... who dropped Green, and it wasn't a flash knock down Green's career was almost over from his sparring partner!

Green has amazing talent, tons of speed.

Green also has added some weird glitch to his boxing resume, he looks down at his feet all the time almost to make sure if they're correctly positioned, it has to be mental because he didn't do this earlier in his career.

Alan green is an amazing Athlete,  but his CHIN is very VERY VERY suspect. I DO NOT BUY the illness factor for the Miranda fight, he lost and that was it no excuses, happens when you fight your whole life on espn against nobodies.

I wouldn't lay -600 on Alan Green, yes his opponent is not an A+ fighter and doesn't really have a resume  but neither does Green his biggest test he failed, so he's not "A+" fighter either.

The over is +140 MAYBE worth a small play but since the headliner is Froch/Jermaine, well I love Jermaine (in this particular matchup)

All the credit to Froch for coming over and taking a very tough fight, he could have taken a few bums and build up some American appeal but he does have appeal no one can deny that, if he beats Jermaine  he will be the kingpin because his ego and persona  can sell fights.
 Jermaine needed his opponets to sell the fight, as Jermaine was never a big talker outside the ring, a big downfall for him.

I do believe it's too big of a leap for Froch, and I believe Jermaine will beat him, but give credit where credit is due as Froch is taking his toughest challenge and selling this fight well on paper.

I look forward to seeing an excellent fight tomorrow night, styles make fights, and I look for Froch to BRING OUT the best in Taylor and vice versa.

i had it a semi biased 114-113 spinks;;;; given the first 4 rounds to lattimore and one late round to him as well.........He easily could have stoled any of those mid rounds but was way to spent....He is something to look forward to since he is only 23 and hits hard....I love how spinks said he was not hurt.....I think we were right on...I figured lattimore would have his flashes and spinks would be boring and he was clinching.....lattimores flash just ended too early....very sad loss for use lattimore backers...but not as bad as that phillie marlin game

I did my final write up, on a different post. I actually believe the OPPOSITE Froch needs to land early, I posted this on another thread. Give it a read.. as always it's just my OPINION and I think it will be a good fight.

You missed a good fight, considering it was Friday Night and ShoBox, usually they have up and coming fighters who fight guys with no chance, this was a different story.

Personally Latimore's manager should be fired, he knew he had a raw talent, with not much ring experience and put him against a PURE BOXER who takes almost everyone the distance and they never look great against Cory.

Latimore went 8 rounds once and 10 rounds once, other than that the rest were early ko's. Bad management never put a one dimensional  fighter against a true technical boxer.

Great strong call on the Escalante under A2C.  I didn't end up playing anything last night because I really didn't have time to look into much this week.  Did watch the Showtime card and I still can't believe Lattimore didn't win for you after that first round.  If I would have been an in-game linesmaker I would have made him a 20-1 fave after that first round, I thought that Spinks looked completely shot.  Lattimore is going to watch the tape from last night and throw up.

What's up with your fellow Austinite Kirkland, it sounds like he has really screwed up this time.  Looks like the slammer for a while.  I know a federal probation agent and they don't take to kindly to felons getting caught carrying heat.

Beautiful work this past weekend A2C.  Very impressive.  Looks like we are both hitting our stride a bit here in April.
