Yep, I thought about putting a bit more on it, but I am going to stay put because I still don't know what kind of whiskers he has.  I think we see a 116-112er in Chambers favor.  You have to think Brock's weight will hurt him.  I posted earlier in the week I had read somewhere that he was coming in around 240, it looks like they were right on the button.

People in the Charlotte area just laugh when I ask them questions about the Boxing Banker. Chin included. HTH's.

Though I'm no real fan of Chambers either. He just seems too small, lacks true Heavyweight voltage. He's beaten everyone, never been in serious trouble, but his Resume still reads thin for being nearly a 3o fight Pro. This is much more an antiBrock side to me.

Yeah, I was referring to not knowing about Chambers chin.  I think Brock can take a shot.

Kevin McIntyre just won a landslide decision over Kevin Anderson.  These British fights are so tough to predict.  I'd read that McIntyre had some kind of positive-thought hypnosis thing going on -- looks like it worked.

The Ghost didnt make weight 1.5 over has 2 hours 2 lose not that big of a deal

The Boxing banker beat Jameel Mcline @ 265.I still think there will be to much speed for Brock to handle

Not a good nite thus far. I put the remainng bets back in on a Parlay. Ouma & Anderson both upset. Beat both Parlays. -2u.

A wacky day so far with McIntyre and Roman winning.  LOL at Ouma losing as a 70-1 favorite.  What's wild is I was actually thinking this fight was setting up similar to the Karmazin upset, but dismissed even a throwaway bet on Roman after seeing who he lost to last time out.

1st bet of the week cashes, on to the heavyweight eliminator....

1.90 units on Lopez (-125) vs Harris

How anyone scores that fight for Brock is beyond me, I'm glad the other 2 judges had a set of eyes that worked tonight.

.50 of a unit on Chambers by 12rd decision (+158)

A 3-0 night for my Shobox bets for over 3 units of profit heading into tomorrow.  I am amped for Calzaghe-Kessler.

what a trippy nite? down -2u, now up 1.16u?!? Go fig. Eddie won by 3 by me, maybe 4 rounds. Al.Po. will mess the not exactly proActive Eddie up. I'll bet that right now. Not much at all impresses me about Eddie. But Cal owes his Judge a check made out to "cash". J.Lo' was good enough, though I thought him a stronger sort?

I may need to go buy some Dramamine. Crushing (for me) VT game on Thur. Bad early start. Very bad. Very solid rally. Tommy Smuthers yo-yo here I come.

Wish I would have seen this earlier, it just caught my eye.  Hope this wasn't the basis for your play thinking that 241 wasn't a bad weight for Brock in tonight's fight.  Brock weighed 218 for that fight, McCline was the one who weighed 265.

I don't think that Povetkin "messes up" Eddie, I think it will be a much closer fight than you think.  Povetkin is pretty darn easy to hit and I think that Chambers can take Povetkin's shot.

Al.Po. does n0t have CCCP superHeavy voltage. Granted. But he's a swarmer, a TKO kinda guy, a finisher w/ 76mm artillery rather than 16`` guns. Eddie has not seen that. Now; that typed. Wald impales either.

I hope a lot of others have the same opinion as you, I would love to tap Chambers at some high odds.  I don't think that Povetkin has faced an Eddie either and don't give me Chris Byrd.  It will be interesting to see who will push who back, common logic would say Povetkin, but for a non-puncher Chambers has been able to back up everyone he has faced.  I am interested to see how Povetkin can fight backing up.  Brock would have been a 50x easier matchup than Chambers for Povetkin.

You really think that Jeff Wald the lead man in charge of The Contender promotional group impales either guy?

no worries.  I think Brock may be done as a top 15 guy, it wouldn't surprise me if he called it quits before long.
