By the way.... congrats to all of the Gomez backers! Gomez came in and did his job. Gatti looked in great shape but his reflexes are a tad bit off and it allowed the light hitting Gomez to slowly break him down. Glad to hear that he is hanging up the gloves, I am sure nobody wants to see him get hurt.

Jones comes through via decision. Wide range of scoring (114-113,117-110,118-109) but at the end of the day Jones handles his business. Not a bad night of boxing for good ol' Boxeo, hopefully others did as well, or better then I did on a wonderful night of fights. I am still impressed with the Margarito/Williams fight. That was a very solid fight and Williams showed me a lot in this fight!

Props to Williams bettors.  The thing he showed me the most tonight was his ability to handle adversity coming back in the 12th to win the fight on the cards after being beaten pretty handily the previous two rounds.  Williams is now legit in my mind, the fight I want at 147 now is Cintron-Williams for partial unification. 




 
I agree FB, Williams showed a lot in this fight! Congrats on the win in the Jones O/U. Something is better then nothing, trust me...I have been there!

i didnt see odds on any of these anywhere in vegas...i woulda won all 3  (i couldnt have bet vs gatti because i rooted for him but i thought he was gonna lose)
 
margarito was ridiculous after the fight ..and the judging was awful becaues 115-113 was way closer that it really was
