WNF's, Showbox, other fights, FMayJr. vs. ODLH PPV: (o5/o5)

Luis "Yory Boy" Campas vs. Eromoselle Albert, and "Fast" Fres Oquendo vs. Daminan Norris.
Odd fight to handicap for the WNF's main-event. I mean how much more Pro experience can you have than LYBC does? How about 560+ amature fights for EA? But when do you age out? 40th fight? 50th? How 'bout nearly 100??? Wierd fight to size up. LYBC can cut, but has never been KO'ed. Could be a total here, could be a side. I need to think/read a bit more on this one.

FOq, is in vs. the larger (taller) DN. FOq is an impoverished mans Chris Byrd to me. IF he will stick to his pure boxing routine (& not bounce off the Ropes as he did vs. Holy` trying for a KO), I like him here, as DN does not have the Power nor the Experience to beat FOq at FOq's best.

Chris Arreola vs. Malcon Tann (new opponent for CA BTW), & Eddie Chambers vs. D.Guinn:
CA sure has a good-looking Stoppage%, w/ only 2 stoppagers after the 4th (CA gets his opponent out quickly). CA has been working harder of late, dropping 20 lbs or so over his last 3 fights. Tann is bigger, but I need to see his weigh-in, b/c of the short notice factor re: conditioning. That should make for an easy call here.

D.Guinn, who I actually personally like.......but I don't know which DG will show up??? EC has always looked flabby for being so small (as Heavyweights go) to me. DG is tough to stop. So I may try a total here, but need to see where these guys come in 1st.

I have FMayJr. to close out a multi-month old Parlay paying a bit over 2:1. I'll stick w/ that, & hope the odds move in my direction. Might try a FMayJr. Decision Prop as well.

I have Mayweather closing a parlay from last week and advancing the 7-fight parlay that I have had going for a month now.  Looking forward to odds being offered on all the fights this week and already have a few in mind.  Saturday night is going to be an event, it is one of the few fights that I won't have to pay for because there are enough people coming at $5 a head to my house.

Bigeiii: Campas just keeps on ticking; just ask Duddy who he took to the brink, that being said I wouldn't mind some juicy + odds here on Albert over the distance.  Right now I like Chambers in a distance fight, Arreola, Cazares by KO, and a possible upset play from Japan.

I agry on the WNF's main-event. I may take a stab on that fido & the total you suggest. Just waiting for things to open so I can fig' out what mixes best w/ what.

FresOq seems just a bit under-trained for WNF's.
EA+125 or LYBC-155??? That's closer to even then I wanted.

I played EA @ +125, & "Fast" FresOq. Added the Japanese guy w/ the 100% KO% & FMayJr. by Decision, w/ some NBA series chalk.

Valero is actually Venezuelan, he is just fighting in Japan because he is not medically cleared to fight in the US due to a surgery that he had to have done on his head following a motorcycle accident.  There was no clotting or hemorrhaging on the brain and GBP was actually working to get him cleared when he headed out of the country because he was ready to fight again, the kid had built of a gym legend in So Cal. like no other.  Valero is the truth; he has fallen in love with his power a little too much and abandoned his boxing ability, but it hasn't mattered yet.  I hope that you saw his fight with Mosquera and some of his other bouts, if you haven't you need to track them down; Valero can bomb with both hands.  A matchup of Valero-Pac is my dream fight out of all the fights that could be made out there today, it would be brutal.

Dang if that's not a strong quote. I'd like to see "Pac-Man" vs. last week's J.Diaz, (jus' b/c I dig what "Pac-Man would likely do to him). But most of all I personally wanna see my boy E.Miranda whip Art.Arab's A here in the States. That's the one I really wanna see.

I thought Valero was from Japan, but lives in Venezuela (which kan't hurt in terms of Rising Sun judging; well; if that were to be needed)? But "Yes" he is the truth. His Resume` is a little thin, but only 1 guy has made it beyond Round #2 vs. Ed.Valero. That's GNC strong. EV is prolly the best prospect I see out there right now, maybe more of a contender in fact, as this is for the WBA strap. Khan, & Al.Diminenko come to mind here as well. Khan is far better early on than I ever imagined, as I thought him to be way overhyped based on early footage.

Interesting Draw, I've never been able to pull that trigger but I can follow your thinking here, as I added an UP.

I added both sides of the WNF's main-event via Decision to some chalk for this week. I like the Distance here, as the Campas price is right. & the Albert price is almost 2:1. Albert does not have a whole lot of Voltage, LYBC is game, gutty, & fairly durable.

Yeah I have had this possible upset circled for a week or two.  I also like that he is the naturally larger and also taller fighter by 2-3 inches, plus the experience he brings to the table fighting in Japan before.

He is from Venezuela, but has been in Japan for the last 18 months with his Rising Sun power promoter following his US departure. 

Just saw some value at over 2-1 here, hence the small play.  Norris has never been past 7 rounds before and Oquendo has been able to get rid of run of the mill fighters in the past, but of course it has been a different story when he faces better opposition. 

Exactly, those facts along with the pairing that Nashiro will be coming forward and trading freely against a bigger man with more power has had me waiting to hit the plus odds here for a couple of weeks.

I kinda like "Fast" FresOq, b/c he does have some legit sweet-science skillz. Or at least he did. B4 he decided to attempt to morph himself into a heavy-handed closer, which he v-e-r-y clearly is n0t. If FresOq tries this vs. a legt HR hitter of a Heavy, he will find himself flat on his wallet. But Norris was not much as opposition goes, he used to be a Cruiser, should go back to that Wt.Class ASAP. Had the look of a pay-check collector & not much else.

Now on to the main event, love starting the week with a dog winner.

I did foresee that Albert had a decent enough shot at an upset. I did envision a Decision Totaling up for either side, but I did not think Albert would 1-side LYBC by that much. Albert just got a semi-solid Career bounce for his work 2nite. He may not be cut of World Title timber, but he's not way way far off either. Very game inside, nice body-work, very nice overall work-rate. Not a lot of 1 shot Voltage, but still, that's not a easy nite at the office for some Belt holder. Don't sleep on Albert if you are a Champ.

Boo yah, the Albert by decision win coupled with the Oquendo prop leads to a 1.97 unit winning WNF card.  The draw prop was a hedge, because like you Bigeiii I thought we would see a close decision.  Hope the dog winners coming through tonight for me is a sign that my underdog winning week will continue, that is except for my Mayweather parlays.

What a NY shocker last night as a 12-1 favorite.  I hate it for Stark, good kid, but with the tough decision loss to Oliver and now this it will be interesting to see where he goes now.

  Up 3.32 units for the week now as the "Dog" week continues.  The 4-1 dog Vetyeka came up just short losing a close decision, but I was right on with Munoz and not even a hometown decision could save Nashiro.  I have eagerly been waiting on the Munoz play for a couple of weeks, but just needed some odds to run with.  The only thing I feared was a hometown job, but it looks like Munoz didn't allow it by completely outclassing Nashiro.

But Ed Valero closed one at 250%, then closed the other at nearly 3:1. I like that. "Yes" I did have the WNF's main-event UP, as I had a lot of parlayed egges in that Distance basket. Reads like Ed.Valero really opened his guy up. & that's what I needed.

Now on to ShoBox & the scales I need to see to make sure who is or is not in-shape.
