College picks....keep in mind these have been crummy this season after four straight seasons of college football being my go-to sport.

Both CFL number one seeds have been determined, so congrats Bombers and Argos.

However, both went unbeaten at home during the regular season, which is a red flag in the playoffs....I would not be surprised if either or both of them lost as home favorites in their home playoff game in the conference finals.

Often, the team that dominates in their last few  games and are favored  get upset in the playoffs, so we'll be especially careful about Toronto who is on a mini-roll right now.  It is more predictive to find teams that start the season off fast....those teams perform well in the playoffs.  

It actually would be helpful to the Bombers in their playoff chances if they lost one or two of their next couple of games

I like Montreal and Calgary to do well in their playoff games.
