You make it to any of the Lion's games yet? I was going to go on Friday, but once I hit the couch after work there was no way I was getting off my ass....
Hey Cover, most of the games I see are only on the box.... I live in Vic and hate ferries.

Well folks, this last week has been very fuckin' busy. Between work, basketball, poker, car & internet problems, I managed to lose my first wager this week...
I knew these teams would put up some points but I my lines of thinking had the winning team with a score of 28....and the losing team with obviously less than that number.
Tonight is a solid match up between the road warrior Blue Bombers & the Edmonton (wheres the offense?) Eskimos.
Edmonton is 1-1 with their one win coming at home.
Winnipeg is 0-2 with both losses on the road....
There have been some big changes depth chart wise for Winnipeg defensively and I think they will be able to keep Jyles from attacking through the air. I got much more to say but the trend of the week has been not enough time....my bet is placed, I'm off to grab a tenderloin & some beer and smoke a little herb before this one starts.
Good luck everyone.

The CFL is a league where the winning QB can put up 270 yards, barely any points and throw more interceptions (2) than touchdowns(1), yet still come out ahead in the game.
You can't turn the ball over in the CFL and last night we witnessed why. Glad that ones over, on to the next one.
This BC vs. Saskatchewan game is another interesting match up. The Rider's are playing their second home game whereas the Lions are leaving the Lion's Den for the first time this season.
They travel to Regina, Saskatchewan to take on a revamped defensive and offensive team in the RoughRiders. Changes to the Offensive and Defensive line have helped them get off to a quick start this year. If you look at the two teams they played, Hamilton & Edmonton, you can see why they are 2-0 right now. The same can be said for BC as they have knocked off Winnipeg and Hamilton.
Winnipeg & Hamilton are bottom feeders are this point and BC has used that home crowd energy to come away with 2 wins.
I see BC & Saskatchewan as being fairly evenly matched up. Both teams should be able to move the sticks and we will finally see how good this Saskatchewan defense really is. Last week they gave up 1 point, but everyone in the CFL knows Jyles can't throw the ball.
Today, the Lions will be missing their home cooking. I see this one coming down to the final quarter with either team in striking distance. With that, I'll take the team with something to prove at home.

Rivalry game.....Physical match up, but I see points being scored...
I'm not sure why Toronto is getting +3.5 but I'm not falling for that trap...If I had to play a side it would be Hamilton based on the fact that the line is screaming for Toronto money.
These two teams trend to the under, but their defenses are both suspect and their offenses are loaded with explosive scorers. Let's see some points!

First game of the week is another hard to one to grasp. Alex Brink starting QB for Winnipeg is usually good for a few interceptions.
Winnipeg gets back a solid running back who is similar to Sheets from Saskatchewan, problem is, the Winnipeg back is having trouble with his lateral movement but he is able to run north/south efficiently. This should give them a little extra punch and this player also does kick returns giving them a 1/2 punch against a poor kick/punt defending team in the Argos.
Toronto lost a VERY PHYSICAL match to the Blue Bombers on Saturday. Now they turn around and have to play on Wednesday, 4 days later, against the BlueBombers (who played Friday in a less physical/emotional match).
I know this line opened at 6.5 and has since moved to 8, and 8.5 in some places....if Ricky Ray can lose to Marcus Jyles, he can lose to Alex Brink...
