I am from Indiana and grew up watching the Hoosiers religiously so fading them here at home worries me a bit. A - because this team can heat it up from deep and shoot +60% (they shot 67% from 3 last game) and B - I will be the first to admit they get more homer calls that almost anyone else in the country.
It comes down to two things for me - I think Larry Brown is going to flat out coach Crean tonight. He will not play at the pace Indiana will want to play at. If they can slow Yogi down and make him play at a different pace than he wants to he will jack up stupid shots and make mistakes and if they can keep him under control this will be an easy cover.
SMU has such an advantage inside over IU that it's almost laughable. They should abuse Indiana on the anterior. Markus Kennedy for SMU should be the best player hands down on the floor tonight. If they can feed him and their other bigs all night, it will be far more than the Hoosier can handle.

Noticed this after I logged the play. It's tough keeping track of that type of stuff this early. Still think SMU gets it done. They still have decent depth in the frontcourt. They play an aggressive 2-3 zone and Crean has always seemed to have fits against the 2-3. Still like the play - thanks for the post.
