well guys got the win yesterday as Wisconsin was up early and pounded Yale. 1-0 day +$700 2-0 on the season +$1,300. As for today this is my 1st max play of the season. I couldn't believe the line when i saw it so lets quit wasting time. My play today is:
UIC -1 for $1,100
A very interesting matchup in Chicago tonight. St Joe's is coming off a 98-87 loss at Toledo on Saturday. Newkirk who missed most of LY with an ACL injury in his 1st game back for St Joe's scored 21 points in 20 minutes. His injury really killed the Hawks LY when they finished 11-20 4-14 in the A-10 and went 1-10 in their last 11
Unfortunately St. Joe's has more injury problems. Charlie Brown will be out at least a few more games due to a fractured wrist and in the loss to Toledo Lamarr Kimble re-injured his foot and was sent home to Philly after the game. Coach Martelli just can't get his whole team healthy the last handful of months. Despite the Hawks winning in the stat column in points i paint off to's etc Toledo shot 54% from the field and was 14-25 from downtown
UIC is coming off a 65-55 win over NC Central in their opener. They only turned the ball over 13 times and you have to remember that last time they turned it over 12 or less times in only 6 games. They outscored Central 25-12 off TOs and 24-9 in bench points.LY the Flames got to the CBI semifinals{Losing to Coastal Carolina} and they did all of that despite the early season injury to Dikembe Dixson who was averaging 22 and 7 for UIC. The Flames were my pick to win the Horizon League due to having 6 guys back who averaged 9 PPG as well as getting Dixson healthy. They're in a stretch of 4 straight home games something thats happened in NC play 3 other times since UIC joined D-1 in 1981-82
After the Toledo game Coach Martelli made a comment that was interesting "I am really concerned about our lack of foot speed" well UIC loves to slice and dice and attack the basket off the dribble using their quickness. Hell they have 6 guy at any time who could off for 25-30 points in any game. With a win tonight the Flames can start 4-0{2 cupcakes next} before their game with Kentucky. The Flames are for real they have the foot speed and St.Joe's with their injury woes is facing the wrong kind of matchup. I like UIC to win by DD
