The ruling follows a 2021 Supreme Court decision that led the NCAA to amend its rules to allow athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness.

Hawaii will become the 8th full-time member of the Mountain West Conference on July 1, 2026, it was announced Tuesday.

It's a notable change for the Mountain West, which needed an 8th full-time member to meet the NCAA minimum to remain a conference
