Good luck on your plays but I strongly disagree that NW doesn’t play any defense. That’s the hallmark of their game, defense. Yes, they undermanned do to the injuries but even at full strength it would have been a tall order to take down UConn. I appreciate reading your input on this year’s UConn team and the matchup Thursday but I couldn’t disagree more. UConn is going to be an absolute load for SDSU and I think they cover the spread. The size of UConn will heavily impact LeDee and their ability to get buckets at the rim and I am not a believer in their guards at all with Trammel and Butler who are 5’10 and 6’2, respectively. UConn has way more shot makers, athletes, and sheer size for me to think that SDSU has a chance to pull this off. This UConn team is so connected which is what I believe makes them a tougher out than last year’s team and if we are going to dissect the year-over-year differences, well, SDSU was night and day a better group last year. Good luck on your plays but I can’t get there on this one. Also, do you think SDSU blowing out Yale, who you had on the ML, is somewhat skewing your read here?

Read. How did he add that? What does “Key presence will be key and I love how this Aztecs team is built going in a game close to UConns campus” mean to you? It’s like saying “man I love that this team is going into Cameron, that’s awesome, not a disadvantage at all.” If you ignore the presence of home court advantage in college basketball then you’re just delusional.
Mentioning something =/= addressing it

@Grinder360 One thing with the Yale/State pick was I didn’t see who State was playing next. I also didn’t think State was able to knock down 3s…one of the worst in tourney….but they did. Also, Thurs/Friday games were my best days because I studied the hell out of the matchups…for almost 3 weeks! Sat/Sun are much tougher to study for and because the turnaround to watch tape & look at everything is much shorter time period. Lesson learned for sure.
That is a fair assessment; it seems like all of us who took Yale looked past the potential championship rematch. Hindsight...
And I agree Tennessee is a one-man team. I don't necessarily think McDermott is that much better than Barnes. Barnes is a legend and a true players coach, they literally love that man. But Tennessee from what I've seen is a very clumsy team and if Knecht is not on the fall apart. So yes Creighton needs to have plan to completely lock him down and they would greatly increase their chances of a win. I just hope Tennessee can find ways to get other players involved in the offense.

As long as the tarheels get by Alabama they will not allow love and Arizona to beat them. Love was a main part of the tarheel team two years ago in the final four and it’s just not going to happen… Arizona may get there, but not by beating Carolina

No doubt, solid players on NC…especially the 1 & 5 spots. What worries me the most about NC Coach Davis. Defensively they struggle to put away teams that score, and we all know what Bama can do…score.

San Diego state was never in UConns league to begin with. Leedee was a 1 man show. But with no support you won’t stop uconn.. also clingan had a bad game and huskies still put the hammer on San Diego state.
