How come the clock doesnt stop when a basket is scored? I mean there was two Tennesee possesions in a row where they scored and the inbounder for Kentucky had to go retrieve the ball and in total 7-8 seconds where run off the normal clock and the shotclock stays put. What I also dont understand is that Ive seen many games in march madness where the clock WILL stop late in games.
Kentucky gained a whole 15+ seconds off the clock in the last two minutes of the game just be they decided to inbounds the ball slowly. I just cant understand how this rule makes any sense whatsoever. So Tenn gets punished clockwise for what?
