Hi All! This post is to serve as both a warning and a reality check for all sports bettors out there. What sportsbook should an above average gambler be using? I am certainly not a sharp but I am definitely better than your average bettor when I practice discipline, which I have gotten quite good at. I have now been banned/limited by two sports books (pointsbet and bet365) and am wondering where I should turn next so that this doesn’t happen again. for this instance at bet365, I decided to try a new book and took advantage of the new player promotion, bet 5 dollars and receive 150 in bonus bets. Well I hit the 150 bonus bet and then proceeded to turn that 150 bonus bet into 500 dollars. I woke up this morning to a blocked account, not able to place any wagers. I contacted support as I was instructed where I was told that my account was permanently blocked. I asked multiple times for reasoning and was told there are no details to provide and the decision is final. I made around 10 bets total winning I believe 7 or so of those bets. i understand these companies are in the business of making money and can refuse service to anyone, however what I am seeing borders more along the lines of extortion than it does standard business practices. Not sure how they can get away with it but little old me is never going to change it. Where can i play without fear of limits? I have screen shots of all my bets and conversations with bet365 staff for all who cares to see it. anyone else have similar experiences out there?

They were a mix of straight bets and a couple 2 leg parlays.. the wager sizes were not very large being between 50 - 75 dollars. Normally I make bigger bets but i was just feeling out the layout of the site before I really ramped up my wagers. I was one evening into it and then banned after a handful of wins? That’s extremely aggressive.

Just curious on the phrase “limit you”. I have won a bunch in the past and lost a bunch in the past. I’ve played with many sports books. My biggest wager has been $500. Typically between $100 to $250 average bet. When you guys are talking about being limited, are you talking quite a bit more than $500 per play? When you’re limited, what are they capping you at per wager?
My bets generally are 1k per game. I’m limited at under $100 at DK, MGM, PB, Rivers. Caesars, FD, Wynn all have me limited but I can still get 300 to 1000 down depending on the sport.

im an open book here. I agree with whoever else said this is weird for a new player over 500 bucks. Never used bet365 before. Never even heard of it before. Last night I wanted to try a new book so I sat here in my recliner and googled best sportsbooks Indiana. Bet365 was in the top 5 so I gave it a shot. I used betonline.ag and bovada way back when before it became legal here. Was a long time pointsbet user until I was restricted there. What else would you like to know? I have the entire chat screen shotted because it was so baffling. ???????

This is why I stay away from all of this BetMGM, DK, FD, yeah yeah yeah. Thanks for sharing this info. Use the traditional offshore sports books. The 3 best in my opinion are www.betpop.eu www.youwager.eu and xbet.ag No problems ever getting paid, and they don't rip you offer either. Just my two cents
