Well things are starting to pick up. Hit my last 8 (although I did attempt a 3.5 pt middle for my last bet for the sake of the value, almost hit it), however my actually play was the under.
Lots of games today. Laid off the last 2. I leaned Portland, but 5.5 was too high when I decided that they might be a play. I needed 4 to really make that play. I watched the GW game the other day and that team reminds me of LaSalle a couple years ago sans the talent. That Mikic kid can stroke it at times, but man are they 3 happy. THey had a great 10 min run in the 1st half, but their d is suspect, and overall they are missing talent. Might be a fade coming up if lines are that friendly.
Couple other notes: -X is going to start to wear down if everyone continues to play the amount of minutes they are. Especially when they keep going to OT -Dayton needs to step up. Many so called leaders on this team and losing by 34 and scoring 34 is just horrible. -St. Joes has played better and are doing so by hitting the 3 better -Temple NEEDS to get Allen and Juan going. I do like the way Randall and Eric are playing. They need to hit better from the FT line as well.
Lines for today (these are not my leans or plays just lines):
George Mason vs. GW +12 Drexel vs. St. Joseph's +8.5 Harvard vs. Fordham +14 Central Michigan vs. Temple -8 Miami Ohio vs. Xavier -7 Old Dominion vs. Richmond +2.5 East Carolina vs. Charlotte +5 Pittsburgh vs. Duquense +11 (Neutral site game technically in the city)
All road games....

Ive looked over the card quickly in about 20 mins. Nothing stands out yet.
Stix.... I like the way St. Joes is playing. I For sure wouldnt lay the 8.5. Its St. Joes or a no play.
PP...thats a tough game. ODU is nasty, but Richmond has shown so much poise. IMO it comes down to foul trouble of Harper. He stays in and plays 30 mins..Richmond just might steal this one. If not, they lose.
Porto...11 pts is a fair share. I wonder what the crowd breakdown will be. Dukes can score, and from beyond the arc, but they have played cupcake games. Horrible SOS so far. Pitt doesnt defend the 3 all that well, but with them, 1 shot and thats it. Great rebounding team.

Just put a quarter of my str8 bet on the ML +320...GL

Drexel's best player and leading scorer from last year got arrested trying to break into a student's west philly apartment. I thought they were going to have absolutely no chance this year but Soph Chris Fouch has made pretty much every 3 pointer he has shot.
They just blew out Binghamton by about 50 or something.
With all that being said and from what i have seen from betting Drexel games the last couple years this is a classic let down game for them. If Fouch isnt on they lose this game SU

St Joe's is 3-1 as underdog this year, upsetting Fairfield/Rutgers in last two games; Hawks are 5-2 in last seven games vs Drexel, with all seven games decided by 10+ points (St Joe's won 77-67 in OT LY). Dragons are 3-1, covering only game was favorite. CAA home favorites are 3-8
Copy/paste above, geez don't like that last 7 games decided by trend except for my ML wager, Joe's by 10 tonite!!!, lol...Seriously though i think some of these early season lines are square especially in a Big 5 game like this. Alot of points...GL

Purely based on last year's match up and contrasted with who is returning this year I don't see George Washington doing much in the way of road warrior revenge.
George Mason Patriots (-12) as of last night/early morning

I know 12 points is a lot to lay but....

I already played ST. Joes at 1.25 units. Going to probably at .25 more. Just curious to see if line moves.
Other leans:
ECU -5 Richmond +4.5 Mia OH +7 George Mason -13 Harvard -14
No total thoughts yet.
I think MIA OH is a scrappy team and after a 3 OT with X..and a down X squad this year, they can hang around.
I may play Richmond 4.5 is a fair share. If it gets to 5..I will probably be on it.
St. Joes has played well lately and Drexel is alright, but nothing that St. Joes cant hang in single digits with. Who knows, but Id take my chances on that. Drexel crept back into the URI game, but they were down huge early...
GW just isnt good. Talent, shooting, inside game. All lacking. GM is solid. Just not sure I can lay that much
I think Harvard could win by 20 tonight. I just dont know if I have the balls to lay 14 with them.
I will probably play 3 of those leans...

Further update...all my sides have been played...still waiting on a couple of totals. For those that dont know. Shamari Spears is NOT playing tonight due to suspension. I heard he was not there at the shootaround today. Dewhurst is a ?.
St. Josephs +8.5 (1.75 units) East Carolina -5 (1.5 units) Miami OH +7 (1 unit)
small parlay for fun on some leans: George Mason -12.5/Harvard -14.5 (.25 units)
