A 4-8 team is favored over a 6-5 team in Vegas? Hmmmm. Seems like the Oral Roberts should be the play.
4-8 and 6-5 means nothing for 2 average teams in shit conferences. It was a equal matchup and Vegas had to make one of the 2 teams a fav. The problem with this game was NO ONE has seen Rice nor Oral Roberts play in this tournament since they arent televised. One thing I noticed in Rice's last 2 games was they didnt defend the perimeter. Obviously its getting EXPOSED right now and now we KNOW why Vegas made Oral a fav.
At the of the day...you have actually watch these teams play and know their strengths and weaknesses and depend less on stats.
