Guys....I agree that no one would like him after tonight. What would the topic of been tonight had Pitt won? Dont get me wrong. I know what you are saying but he has always been different. What made you think it would stop here? He was trying to find a rope to hang onto his ESPN career and this was what he found??? I agree at least he didnt pick a number 1 seed like everyone else. Thats like picking the favorite on any bet you make. It isnt always smart. We almost found that out from UCLA tonight.

Pitt was a bad pick for a couple of reasons.  The 1st being that they palyed 4 games in 4 nights to win the Big East Tourney.  They had tired legs and we all saw that in the 2nd half.  A couple of years ago when Syracuse won the BET they did the same thing & they were ousted in the 1st round. 
 
Second, 22 of the past 29 champs have been #1 seeds.
 
Knight was trying to be edgy by being foolsih.  He is a complete joke.  He does not answer the questions he is asked.  He is only spewing out his own rhetoric in an attempt to catch an AD's eye to get another coachin gig.
 
Also, why does ever other ESPN employee have to wear a suit and he does not?

in knights defense im sure he didnt get to watch basketball a lot this year or any year for that matter.  he was busying preparing a team and only knew about the teams he played in nonconference and the big 12.  then he watched championship week and figured pitt was a good team based on that.  idiots like vitale and the other stooges on there have no defense for not knowing anything about basketball.

MSU is not a bad team.  Izzo can coach come tourney time.  We all know what wins tourney games....veteran guard play.   Drew Neitzel anyone.  The Spartans have just as good a chance as anyone to get to the Final Four.
 
And speaking of the number four...did you know that NO player who has played all four years for Tom Izzo has not gone to the Final Four?
If that's a fact about the "final 4  thing ", then I am amazed...that is truly awesome !

ESPN is complete trash...My problem isn't as much with Knight as it is with ESPN.  It's been tough to watch those idiots lining up to smooch Knight's ass.  I would have blasted Knight if I was in studio when he made that PITT pick.  The suck-ups there were too busy on their knees to address it.
 
ESPN needs less ex-athletes, less ex-coaches.  They are too connected to the game and each other to give real opinions that count.
 
If something is great let's praise it.

good point swizzol.  there has been a lot of sucking up and smooching knight since the second he got there.  only gottlieb really gives it how it really is.  i would advocate moving musberger to college gameday only so he could give his picks in the sly way that he does during  the games.

I think Knight is just plain boring on ESPN.  Over the course of his career he wasn't that way...but in his current role.  BORING

I agree...My problem isn't really with Knight.  I'm actually a big fan of Knight as a coach.  You really can't blame Knight...If ESPN offered me a huge check to get on TV and make foolish picks I'd jump at the chance.  It really is offensive to the sports fan tho.  They could have just brought Carrottop on and made a complete joke of the whole thing.
