I expect an even more dominating game tonight as Michigan had to play many of their starters yesterday for over 40 minutes with Indiana being fully rested. All of these things lead to a route. I may even bang this again at halftime as I expect the legs of Michigan to be finished versus the fresh legs of Indiana. I would be surprised if Michigan comes within ten points of this number.

3. 5 days rest for Indiana. Good teams take advantage of rest where as bad teams usually come out flat. I think Indiana will be fresh and hungry after watching all these college basketball games the last week - It's their time to make a statement and improve their seed in the NCAA tourni.
4. Michigan played a hard fought game yesterday and they have no bench. This is also a noon time game for these kids. Michigan risks going down right off the bat if their mind isn't right from the start. I would not be surprised to see a score of 8-0 or 12-4 to start the game for Indiana.
5. Indiana is 5th in offensive efficiency in the country! Michigan is a team that is known to have long scoring droughts which can go 3,4,5,6 or maybe 9 minutes long like the last time these teams met. That will create runs by Indiana and separation on the scoreboard.
6. Yogi Ferrell is the best player on the court by far. He controls the ball, the pace, and the Indiana offense. He is having an amazing senior year and he does a great job at keeping the team focused and hungry every single game. This team and this player don't have many lapses of focus and there is no way I expect one today against an average Michigan team.

Dayton is one of those teams, much like Connecticut and Michigan State, that performs in march. The Flyers, albeit their 24-6 record, are flying (no pun intended) somewhat under the radar in that no one is talking about them. I like what Archie Miller does with his guys and they seem to outperform competition come March.
Richmond got a W against Fordham last night, 70-55 but has underperformed expectations this season. I always like a play on a team with an extra day of rest when playing a team that played the day before. Also, Richmond will be without forward Marshall Wood, who suffered a concussion in a car accident but did not play in their game last night.
These teams played once this season a few weeks back with Dayton slipping by the Spiders in Richmond 85-84. Wood was good for 6 rebounds but only scored 2 points. In the same game, T.J. Cline went for 36 and I don't see the same type of game today. I foresee Dayton bucking their season-long trend of slow starts and might not trail the entire game.

Totally agree - Be careful betting on a bad team against a potential elite 8 squad in March. Purdue has size that should control this game on offense and defense frustrating Illinois into bad shots the entire game. I will not be taking it so I will be rooting for the Illinois backers in this thread! They had a nice win yesterday.
