Agreed and trust me i am rooting for a blowout.....just wanted to point out that K does not coach to win games big....his losses to the likes of Mercer are because he tries to conserve his squad.   As a guard laden jump shooting team he realizes more than others that he will need his legs in the second and third weekends.  This leads to close games and under.

I have been tailing an NBA due on Pregame who has been tearing up an NBA favorites system....todays games are Wizards and Bucks.......its up 10 units over the last week and is 6-1 over the last 7.   No write ups but i can vouch for last week

$$$$ Kentucky -13.5

Calipari isn't a happy camper. And you've got to think this great-minded coach will have his team motivated to show the nation WHY KENTUCKY DESERVED A MUCH HIGHER RANKING for this particular tournament. That 4 seed is practically a slap in the face after winning their conference tournament yet drawing a tough draw in their bracket...and a very tough seeding at 4 considering they will be facing the 1 seed sooner rather than later. Did Kentucky deserve at least a 3 seed? Well let's consider where Texas A&M landed in all of this. You would've thought with their 3 seeding that Kentucky would've gotten maybe a 2 seed or even a 3.  Maybe the bracket makers saw a more dominant team on the court when A&M and Kentucky battled it out in OT. Nonetheless this ranking was NOT what Calipari and his BLUE CREW was looking forward to when the matchups came out Sunday. Kentucky comes out fired up. First half line even looks tempting as Kentucky rides this one home in an easy win. Even if one of the halves plays out even...the other one should be a complete manhandling of BIG SCHOOL vs. LITTLE SCHOOL as Stony Brook has only one guy that needs to be stopped. IF Kentucky can keep Warney at bay, then I see Kentucky by 18-20 at least. At least for one game, Kentucky can show the nation they are a very dangerous #4 seed that should've been a #2...but will play like they are a #1.

HAW has incredible potential and quickness

Wichita State (9:20PM ET TNT) – Looking to break our two game $$$$ losing streak on Thursday as we head to the South Region for our top play of the day as the #6 seed Arizona Wildcats take on the #11 seed Wichita State Shockers at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.  Arizona head coach Sean Miller hasn’t been shy in discussing the perceived east coast bias in college basketball and he also has voiced his displeasure with his Wildcats being shipped out all the way to Providence for their Second Round opener.  What he should be more displeased with is the fact Arizona drew the dangerous Wichita State Shockers who are not only healthy and peaking at the right time but come in with the momentum of having played on Tuesday night and destroyed a quality Vanderbilt team to earn their way into the round of 64.  While conventional wisdom tells us playing a first round game on Tuesday in Dayton and having to turn back around just two days later and play in a different city against a better team should put the First Four participants at a disadvantage, it’s hardly been the case as a “First Four” team has advanced to the round of 32 every single year since the additional four teams were added to the field in 2011.  We have said right from day one this year we felt this Arizona team would be overrated all season from a line perspective due to what they lost from an elite Wildcats team a season ago.  While Arizona put together a great season that any program should be proud of going 25-8 and finishing third in the PAC 12, a pair of losses down the stretch of the regular season to Colorado and Utah combined with a semifinal exit in the PAC 12 tournament have knocked the Wildcats down to a #6 seed and a vulnerable one at that as they face a Shockers team that is far better than any other #11 seed in the field.  Going all the way back to the preseason top 25 polls, this Wichita State team was ranked as high as #10 in the country before an early season loss to Tulsa and a disastrous showing at the AdvoCare Invitational saw the Shockers crash out of the top 25.  All of this is factored into Wichita State’s #11 seed but what we feel wasn’t taken enough into account is the slew of injuries the Shockers have overcome and the slow start for Fred Van Vleet who spent the first couple months hobbled due to a nagging hamstring ailment.  As Wichita State returned to health they absolutely rolled through a very good Missouri Valley Conference, winning the regular season title by four games over the next closest team, and if you throw out the Missouri Valley Conference tournament which is in the Scottrade Center, a building the Shockers struggle to shoot the ball in every single year, this team has pretty much been pounding teams since late December, Vanderbilt on Tuesday night included.  Wichita State has upperclassmen in Fred Van Vleet and Ron Baker that have seen it all as these two were an integral part of the 2013-14 Shockers team that made it all the way to the Final Four, and with Arizona losing so many of their guys that played important tournament minutes for them the past two seasons, we see the Wildcats as an inexperienced team 2,600 miles away from home that is ripe to fall victim to a mild upset.  Gake York and Kaleb Tarczewski are being billed here as the super veterans for Arizona with 20 NCAA tournament games between them but they were role players until this year while the duo of Van Vleet and Baker have been running the show in Wichita through all their success during their tenure as Shockers.  Wichita State is a team that is built for success in a tournament like this, has had success in this tournament with many of these players, and has all the momentum in the world after slamming a very talented Vanderbilt team by 20 on Tuesday.  Arizona has been lackluster down the stretch, going 3-3 over their final six games and the team with the furthest commute of any team will have a really long ride home as Wichita State continues the trend of First Four teams having success in the second round when they knock off Arizona tonight.

This was one of the toughest first/second round boards in recent memory in my opinion but riding the winner of a first four game has paid year after year and I think Wichita State is the more likely candidate to keep this alive.   Tomorrow's board looks much better, I will post by best play here and have my full card at topflightsportsinfo dot com

ALR is a really well coached team that is senior laden and confident right now so I think they'll be able to keep this close and possibly pull the upset. Purdue has a huge size advantage and will dominate the boards. But I think ALR's senior guards will be able to cause Purdue's backcourt some problems, and somewhat mitigate their size advantage. ALR has a really aggressive defense (5th nationally in steal percentage; 21st nationally in turnover percentage) and holds opponents to less than 40% field goals, so in what will undoubtedly be a slow, low possession game I'll grab the points.

Florida State Seminoles (20-13 overall, 13-15-1 ATS, 16-13 O/U) Valparaiso Crusaders (27-6 overall, 15-14-1 ATS, 15-15 O/U)

So I like better SU and ATS record but then again, who did they played?  Well I don't care who they played but more concern with what is the condition at the current state of mind. 

Fl st is 5-8 SU and 5-7 ATS AWAY
val is 12-4 SU AWAY

Here is another game where you have offense vs defense.  Fl st is 58th in the nation in offense against a stingy 9th ranked defense of val.  Ok, this is not even an offense vs defense game anymore.  It would be if 9th rank vs 9th rank but the value here still goes to the 9th ranked defense of val.  We all heard of the term defense wins championship right? 

Not only that, val is 5th in the nation in rebounding so that means offensive board for an extra put back which means more points for Val. 

Florida State

  • 0-4 ATS in their last four on the road
  • 0-4 ATS in their last four vs. Horizon League
  • 0-6 ATS in their last six road games vs. teams with winning home record

Val is playing at home so they also have home crowd advantage.

I'm 1-0-2 for the $$$$ this week.  Can't believe my push last night but props for those who bought it late when the Reverse line movement took into effect for better value and the late line win with witchita.  Imma stick with straight bets from now on.  No more silly parlay.  It is hard enough to win 1 than lets say 2.

Totally agree with you here.  This is one of those things where I see Purdue potentially in this regional final but if they come out flat Ark Little Rock could definitely catch them off guard.

Either way this one has a good chance to cover.

$$$$ Indiana Hoosiers -10

This line has slowly climbed down as I saw it as high as -12.5.  Indiana wins the Big Ten outright, ranks Top 5 nationally in offense, and loses to another tournament team, Michigan,  by a buzzer beater in the first round of the conference tourney and they get a 5 seed.  Darn skippy they are angry.  This is a legit Top 10 team in the country with a talented senior, Yogi Ferrel, running the point.  This team is going to push the pace and literally cram it down the Mocs throat. The Mocs are a good team from a much weaker conference and only played one ranked team this year, Iowa State, in which they lost big.  Indiana has played stiff competition all year and this will only be a warm up game for the next round in which they will face Kentucky.  I see Zeisloft and Indiana's superb three point shooting and ability to get to the line being the x factors here.
