Just to add on about BOVADA, used em for last 6ish years and are very dependable for payouts and love the generous poker. But the sports lines are enough to give you a headache, sometimes the lines aren't there till tip-off, and forget about trying any parlays or plays that aren't str8 bets, it's almost impossible to find enough games they will let you put in parlays so on and .........Just a bad site to try and make a significant amount of $$$$. I use Heritage and haven't had any complaints, YET!!! My 2 cents . GL

Question - does anyone else use Bovada, and is anyone else having the issue that they are not posting any college ball lines? It's 2 hours to the first tip-off and I don't see anything.And before anyone asks, Bovada is the only book that my bank accepts deposits from.


I use Bovada as well and it pisses me off! I've called and complained numerous times now. It really is to screw you. They know you read to take a team at say -5.5 but by the time they open their line it may have moved to -6.5 or -7.5. Then they hope you take it anyways because you figure eh whats a 2 point difference. Yet, they know it will make a decent difference.
Bovada is for low betting sportsbettors. They have caps on what you can bet per sport per game. I want to switch to 5dimes, but my I have the same issue with my bank. May just switch banks. haha

Tigers and Boger - I appreciate the feedback. I haven't tried 5 dimes in a while, so I'll see if my deposit will go through on there. Bovada was always just an easy solution, and I will say that they always paid out quick...but that said, releasing opening lines 2 hours before game time is ridiculous.

I used to use Bovada before I realized they're probably the worst sports book on the Internet. It's not an issue they do not have NCAAB lines up 2 hours before tipoff - it's simply their process of doing things. They don't release their lines until 2 hours before so they can screw you. If I were you I would attempt some other way to get money into a different book.


I use Bovada as well and they do it to screw you. You read about a game and to take a team at -5.5, but then bovada opens at 1130 or sometimes even misses the noon games and then that line has moved to -7.5. They hope you don't care about a 2 point line movement because they are usually dealing with amateur sport bettors. Yet, they know 2 points means a lot. I am stuck in the same boat with the bank issue. I may have to switch banks, because these guys are crooks.

Well after hitting the NDST/SDST under I'm 1-0 on $$$

My $$$ play of the day is Duke/Nc State over 150. While this line seems a little low I really like this bet. Both times they played this year the total was 160+. Nc State and averaged 75 points a game but give up 74 a game. Duke averaging over 80 points a game also gives up 71 points a game. Nc State already has played a game so the first game slow start shouldn't matter here. I would be a little worried about Duke getting off to a slow start but after watching NC State yesterday and many other times this year they give way to many open shots. They don't play that good of defense and Duke will get the foul calls Wake didn't yesterday. Duke lost their last game so I'm sure Coach K will have them ready to play. I don't see either team having a problem getting into the 70's here. I would jump on this line now as it has already moved two points. Good luck guys.

$$$$ Colorado -5.5 1H $$$$

This is my first post ever so take this for what it is worth.  I have been capping for a while and have been following this thread for a month or so.  

Wash St has not covered a first half spread in a minimum of 15 games (at least that is as far back as I have looked).  Last game Wash St played they were +2.5 dogs to open and it moved to +7.5 which didn't make sense to me why it opened so low SO JUMP ON THIS NUMBER NOW.

Wash State -4.3 -11.7 -10 -0.2 -9.5 -3.4

I could list out all 15 games or if you do not believe you could go look it up.  The last time Wash St played in Colorado, Colorado covered the 1st half spread by 7.  In their last 15 games the average points Wash St trailed at half is 11.7.

This will most likely be their last game this year.

Check back closer to 11AM ET, lines should be up.....that is late though.

Most offshores don't use your bank info.....you generally just take cash to your local drug store and send a wire....its actually very easy

I used bovada ages ago....haven't played there in about 7 years or so....is this site any good now?

I've been tailing this thread for last few weeks and it's been great! Thanks everyone for the solid input and thanks Bubba for keepin it rollin!! I've been hesitant to put my thoughts up here or post any $$$ plays because I don't want to spoil a good thing. I've been betting quite some time 10+ years and when I see a mismatch I have to take it and I would bet it 100 times! First $$$ play ever posted

I posted this earlier on yesterday's thread before today's thread was up. But as PoutyPrince posted...I think Illinois is the play. 

$$$$ Illinois -8 $$$$

Minny showed you what a depleted roster and losing their top 4 guys will do to them and that was a 23 pt loss on the road at an awful Rutgers team. Late February as the wheels were coming off for Minny Illinois beat them by 13 in Champaign & early in the year with a full squad Minny still lost by 5. Illinois has shown their inability to compete with better teams in the big10 as they consistently lose by double digits but they handle the bottom feeders...minny/rutgers. Minny won't have the legs with the short bench this late in the season to keep up. If they get in any foul trouble I dont have the slightest clue who they will put on the court. 

I don't like backing bad teams but Illinois is clearly the better of the two. Illini -8 

(Side note...how did my Boilers lose to Illinois...wtf!? Lol)

Good good morning.  For those who may be interested,  I have been following howie kussoy of the ny post wih his cbb tournament plays. He is 106 -68-5 since 2011. He has had a couple of super and some mediocre years,but never a losing year.

Only caution he post lines from the prior nite when he does hie write-upfor publication.makes sense. Today his plays are Pitt -2( now at least 3 1/2); depaul + 8 1/2(got it at  + 9) Marquette - 6 1/2(-7 for me). If interested I will continue to post for the brethren

0-1 On $$$$plays.

$$$$ PITT-3

Hate locking up on the early game, bad track record, hate tacking team looking to win 3 st8 against same team, bad track record, and Pitt already cost me against Ga Tech the other day.

But Pitt is the play more so just on the matchup. Cuse have no answer for Artis and the dreadful free throw shooting by Cuse has just killed them in the previous 2 matchups, along with the rebounding  edge which isn't even close, but the more glaring stat is the offensive rebounding edge double digits both games. Pitt is no great shooting team but they are on par with Cuse and will once again control the pace and the boards and though these games are usually down to the wire, the wire for Syracuse usually ends around the 6 minute mark and Cuse won't be able to shoot themselves back into game. Go Panthers 69-61 IMO GL ALL.

5-0 night last night hitting my 2 big plays. However I am 0-2 last 2 $$$$ plays posted so tread lightly. Im getting frustrated with these $$$$ plays. Started off 5-2 now 5-4.  Hoftra had that game well in hand and totally collapsed in 2nd half vs UNCW. Still had a chance to win with 5.5 secs left and ran a bad play that led to a bad shot at the end of regulation. Lets move on to today. 

Duquene-7 $$$$ Play

We have the Dukes vs Lasalle to open up the A10 tourney.The Dukes only played Lasalle 1 time this year and blew the doors of of them. Out rebounding them by 17 pulls and holding the Explorers to 30% shooting. The Dukes can play with anyone in the A-10 and they have proved that.Dukes got a huge confidence boost last week by beating St Joes. Before that they have lost several close games that could have gone either way. Dukes are looking to make some noise in the A10 tourney and I think they go to the second round with ease by handing Lasalle another beat down.

okay so chris mullens st.johns have been one of the worst teams in the ncaa..... they are far from being a contender with such a soft small passive young team.... Marquette has had some big wins this year and i honestly cannot see st.johns being able to hang around... maybe if they were home.... Marq size and ability to actually win games should hold them over to a double digit lead

Hey @Kobe_V24...the tourney is being played at Madison Square Garden.  This is St Johns home court.  With that said the Johnnies  are still a very bad team!  BOL

Duq is also my $$$$ play but i am going to let you have it while i cap another good one for the team. I will be betting n tailing you on duq for sure. Lasalle is dead last in conference so unless you think that lasalle is a Cinderella team no one should bet on LaSalle. LaSalle lost to duq by 27 was it? Now spread is so generous. I also have trend that points to duq too.

0-1 here in money plays

 

Im going with Florida State -4 for $$$

 

They have a history of playing well in the ACC Tourney.  They did lose their only season matchup to VT at VT by 10.  Im going with the hot hand.  Granted it was BC yesterday they played, FSU was having fun.  When you look at their guards, they should be a NCAA Tourney lock in my opinion.  FSU has a sneaky shot to get to the ACC Tourney finals I believe. I don't think FSU has played to their potential this season.  Time to start.  Go with FSU -4 today over Vtech.

Been following this thread for a long time but never posted.Hell been a covers member for a long time and never really posted period.Gonna make first $$$$ pick.
I"m really liking Va Tech today,line opened at Tech +2.5 and now up to +4.
Tech has won 5 in a row including a 83-73 win against Fla St a few weeks ago.During that time period shooting almost 50% and scoring 75 pts. while surrendering only 65 pts per game.
What I like about this time of year you have many inexperience bettors pushing lines based on what they saw most recently an example being Fla Sts win yesterday over a bad BC team.
I thought game would open around Tech -1.5
