I can vouch for everyone on Illinois today. I should've written up a play for Illinois last night when I took them -8.5. I also bought more this morning on the ML which is never ideal at -420 (now higher) but the talent gap in this one will be ridiculous. Illini are 2-0 vs this team, on road vs full gophers team and at home they ran away in second half which was first game the three players were suspended. Glad to see so many hopped on Rutgers Saturday but hopefully no one actually watched that mn/Rutgers game but believe me, that wasn't an aberration for what this depleted team is. Even Pitino has been quoted of saying that it would be a shock if the gophers won a tourney game. What kind of coach says that?! IMO one who is trying to set the bar so low that blow out losses to powder puff B1G teams won't get him fired. Moral of the story, gophers are missing 5 starting caliber players since beginning of the season from a team that was already very talent deficient. Alright I'm talking myself into this, $$$$ play #2 for me fading my gophers again -10 is the current line which I suppose I'll have to take for record keeping on this thread although I took last night. BOL to all! Oh and huge thanks to Bubba for keeping this rolling!

Leaning towards duke / NC under.. I really like Utah state Wyoming under, I see coach stew trying to slow down the tempo and Wyoming is completely out matched physically.. I might make it a $$$$ but I'd surprised to see this go over

The suspended players are from Minnesota, and no, they are not returning today.

TopFlight thanks for all the info. I've been using BetPop.Eu for years. They always pay out and there bonuses are fair. They also have a few other ways to win free money like ( the wheel of fortune spin wheel ) I like them and trust them if anyone ever wants to sign up there. If any of you know of any reliable local books in the northern va area, I'd appreciate some help on that, my wife and I moved to the area a couple of years ago.

HMMMM    i see that on my site as well now even though i locked it in much higher  None of my sites list scorers out.  I have no rational explanation as 3.5-4 its is a huuuuge move.  All i can say is i will be doubling down with my other book closer to game time if nothing surfaces.  Thanks for the heads up.

Just as an aside i have found the tournament Over Unders to be fundamentally priced too low.  in my mind the handicappers undervalue how much a team playing their last game of the season will irrationally foul to preserve the integrity of "we did everything we could" or we left it all out there.  I tend to favor unders in the regular season as the lines seem high.......just the opposite seems true in tournament play thus far.

$$$$ plays 3-2, 0-1 week

Stanford / Washington

Washington 1-0 v Stanford this year, beating them by 11 on home court last month.  Biggest take away from that game for me is high flying Washington shot it 3 for 22 from 3 point land in that game, and Andrew Andrews put up a whopping 8 points.  Kid has been lighting up recently, the game against Stanford is an outlier.  Stanford knows they must slow the pace drastically to have a chance today.  O/U in first matchup was 156, they combined for 117.  Today, O/U set at 150.  This really reminds me of the Oakland vs Wright st matchup from Monday night.  That game went under by 35 points, wright state completely deflated the basketball, and OU was out of sync all night.  Stanford was able to accomplish that on the road a few weeks ago against Washington, holding them to 64 points.  Stanford needs to do the same thing today.  They can't let Washington get out and run.  I'm making two plays on this game.

$$$$ play Washington/Stanford U 150

Regular play on Washington -3 on the basis I believe Andrews has a better day shooting the rock.

Ok guys, Here is my first play of this ridiculously, insane, profitable forum! Been following from the start because due to time, I have not posted until now. You will see the three reason below for my pick.

1. USC has dominiated UCLA this year going 2-0 and beating them by more than 10 points at UCLA and at home.

2. The favorite has been 6-2 between these two teams.

3. UCLA has not won and covered in their last 4 games. 

They sure have thrown the towel! Record is below .500, too late to start wiining now.

Late players! oh, and this victory is dedicated to the old commissioner of this forum USC_Holmeys!

@matt2688 - like your thinking on that Washington/Stanford game and comparing it to that Wright State/Oakland game. But if Stanford is able to deflate the ball and slow it down like that... Shouldn't Stanford +3 be the play?

Love this thread, love playing along. Took yesterday off with a small slate of games and did a little research in the meantime. Today, the play I like best is on Texas Tech vs. TCU. The Big 12 tourney is being played in Kansas City, MO. 

Bubba give me a $$$$ Play on Texas Tech -7 vs. TCU

This play multi-faceted in that it is both a fade of TCU and a belief in TTU. TCU is riding a 7 game losing streak into this game and Senior role player Devonta Abron is questionable with a back injury. I believe this team has run out of both juice and hope.

Texas Tech, however, is better than their record proves. This team has a few quality wins (Hawaii, Arkansas Little Rock, Texas, Iowa State, @ Baylor, & Oklahoma). Clearly, their home performance is much higher quality but this is a team that believes it has a shot at making the tourney and increasing its seed with a little run in conference play. I'm buying in for tonight's game at least. 

A little stat work:
-Texas Tech averages 69.8 ppg on road vs. TCUs 61.5 ppg 
-Texas Tech average scoring margin on road is -4 ppg vs. TCUs  13.9 ppg
-Texas Tech shoots 43% in road games while TCU shoots 38.9%
-TCU assist/turnover ratio away from home is a dreadful 0.593
-ATS, Texas Tech is 19-11 (63.3%) on the season, TCU is 11-20 (35.5%)

Bubba....You do not have me on the stat board. I posted 2 wins last week and was 2-0. No big deal, but I wanted to let you know. I also posted my record in your first post this week. Last week was my first week following this thread.

Also, I think there should be a rule on players with new accounts posting. I have nothing against new players that just joined, but I fear that players with bad records are creating new accounts and starting with a clean slate. If this thread is going to succeed, it will not likely be with players that are joining in February and March of 2016 with under 100 posts. My 2 cents.

Couple things and obviously I am new. First it would be strange if you blindly followed a new person actually would be weird if you did that for anyone. I never just trust someone's write up no offense to anyone br if I read someone's write up and like the game I will do my own research. If someone is knew I win the first couple I will keep my eye on them. Two if people are creating new accounts who cares you don't fix a losing record by creating a new account. If you were a loser before you will still be a loser with your new account. My 2 cents

#10 Rice (12-19; 7-18-1 ATS; 19-6 O/U)

#7 Charlotte (13-18; 18-11 ATS; 17-12 O/U)

Both of these teams coming into this contest with below .500 record but one of them has a stellar ATS record and I have cashed on charlotte before. 

Charlotte owned the series, beating rice by 24 points first game and 13 points the second game.

Both of these teams are the worst of the worst in the league on defense but Charlotte has a better offense.  I think charlotte is ranked 47th in the country with offense points per game. 

The Rice Owls are:

  • 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss.
  • 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 games vs. C-USA teams.

The Charlotte 49ers are:

  • 15-6 ATS in their last 21 games overall.
  • 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a straight up loss.


Using momo styles of capping,

rice is 3-11 SU and 3-10 ATS giving us a true ATS ratio of 0-11 ATS

charlotte is 5-9 SU and 8-7 ATS giving us a true ATS ratio of 3-9

Everything seems better with charlotte so give me my $$$$ play on Charlotte -5.5 at the current line.
