Ark St -1.5 vs. troy (betrivers)
Ark St was here last year and laid an egg. 5 of current top 7 played in that game. Older team than troy, with experience in this game, think that counts for something here, so getting behind them to redeem and break through. That said, kind of scary how troy been dominating in this tourney so far. But also think JMU got flustered and shat themselves yesterday. I think it's key that ark st not come out slow, Troy has been able to get out and front run in this tourney so far, hoping we get to see what happens if they can't front run here

GL today cap. I'm staying away from the side in this game. I'm on the over. Troy's offense was clicking yesterday and I don't trust their defense to repeat the JMU result

Scott Cross I feel will be a huge difference maker here in what on paper seems to be a toss up game. Defense can be just suffocating. If they continue to put up 70+ like they have the last month of their heater (including a win on on states floor) might be real tough.

Xavier . Have em +100000 to win it all a few weeks ago. Slim chances but when they are clicking just so good and so experienced. Playing for their life Thursday. Gotta get it done and leave it out of the committees hands.

been playing like top 20 team for awhile, marq will be motivated tho, but theyve been routinely coming up short in the tougher games last couple months. Hope it hits brother

just kind of funny...robert morris will cover tn because I'm laying off the game but...just going to ramble about a game here
I was interested in backing RMU to win the horizon champ game after they survived the oakland game, considering that team has won like 15 of 16 or whatever it is.
So last night I'm following the cleveland state-youngstown game, both teams look like total fuckin terds. But then I started realizing, that I badly wanted cleveland state to be the opponent for RMU.
Cleve St was on clear downtrend to end the season. They were only up on youngstown late in the game because of flukey efficient 8-12 3 pt shooting and youngstown shooting very poorly from FT line. RMU and CSU split during the season but RMU won the 2nd game fairly easily. In comparison, youngstown and rmu split during the season but rmu's win was only by 2. You also would get a near pickem line if opponent was csu considering csu was favored over youngstown
Cleve St was so close to surviving that miserable basketball last night and limping into this champ game, but of course did not due to allowing a late 4 point play
So considering for the sun belt champ game, the way troy was looking dominant should have been enough for me to scrap my arkansas st plan. So in that same vein, for this horizon champ game, with the preferred opponent not working out and youngstown feeling like a wildcard to me, this time I will NOT stick with the champ game plan, and will leave it alone.
And yes I'm well aware RMU will crush these herbs tonight. But I feel weird about it... and fuck them all, matter fact fuck you all, and fuck me , I hate you I hate your stupid fucking hair and your cheekbones and your stupid fuckin ear lobe and all that shit man hate hate hate hate hate hate

these herbs gonna bend over and take it right up the fuckin cooter for the old rival again?
Grab your fucking balls, and show some motherfuckin pride how about?
This is one of those situations, where metrics and all that bullshit, plus insistence from the books with the lines, suggest it should be pretty fuckin hard for mary's to beat them again. In both games, mary's was able to get out to sizeable leads and make them hold up. In the first game, it looked like zags took over in 2nd half after making up whole deficit, but mary's eked it. In the 2nd game, Coach Few foolishly and selfishly started his son for the fist 2-3 minutes, so they were playing 4 against 5 and started in 9-0 hole I believe. I want to see how this goes with zags playing with extreme motivation and not spotting them a big lead. We will see
we are fucked tho probably

speaking of pride. Freakin Hoyas. Could you imagine losing twice to depaul, then getting absolutely ripped by the coach (cooley essentially called them a bunch of pussies and shit like pitino did last year). Then you get another crack against depaul a few days later....could these dickless mules really lose again lmao I'm expecting these dudes to play with an edge in this game and will take my chances. But good lord. Take cooley behind the fuckin shed and shoot him if they lose this game

Indy is the game I felt most confident in so I doubled down on it. Actually I think I kind of already lost the confidence though lmao
I will now attempt to express why I was so confident in this game not too long ago
Indy should play with a nice blend of desperation but not a shit ton of pressure either. They really could use a win, but it's not do or die since they're in all the brackets at this point. And they've been overcoming Woodson coaching for past few weeks generally. And they lost a frustrating close game on the road at Oregon just a week ago. Who knows how motivated oregon will be here, but since it's a certainty to me that indy will be motivated as fuck and just proved they can hang with oregon (shelstead hit like a 40 foot 3 at end of shotclock with like 2 minutes left to break a tie, and indy ultimately crumbled to lose by 9, but the game was tight as can be). Also this game is only an hour or so from indy's campus. I mean fuckin cmon. I get ducks on 7 game win streak, but only tourney teams in this stretch were indy themslves and wiscy. Bunch of these games were tight. Whatever give me the motivated as fuck team with recent revenge. Then pound my fuckin snizz and piss on me while I lose money

I dont take losing / having a down season well, in case you can't tell lol
just some final thoughts so I don't have to post later about these. Champ week, when it comes to teams already firmly entrenched in the tourney, who knows how much they care about the conference tourney. I lean to the belief that any kind of clear motivation can be a huge edge as long as gap between teams isnt that wide and it's not overly high pressure situation.
I see Iowa St as a team that would be quite motivated in big12 tourney. This could really set up for a little revenge tour for them, as they surely would love another crack at byu. Even oklahoma st should they get passed cinci tonight, isu should be up for that. Then they get houston if they clear byu, who they competed with on the road despite missing 2 top players. Another example. Illinois-maryland matchup if illinois can beat the iowa/suckeyes winner. Illinois got embarrassed by that team ( I recall it was said they were dealing with the flu and shit) and should be super up for that rematch. Who knows how much maryland cares about that game. Just saying, these are spots I'll be playing this week if they materialize, and we'll see if I get crushed or not.
Disgruntled as I am, fascinated to see if zags fuck me tn, and if rmu still wins/covers vs youngstown like they 100% would have against csu, and also the delaware game. WTF is that nonsense? Delaware lost 11 of 12 and was a complete piece of shit entering this tournament, now 1 win away from 5 wins in 5 days glory? Stuff like that makes college ball the most unique and coolest thing in the world. But from a capping perspective amidst a tough season, it's also brutal mindfucking shit that makes this all feel senseless lol
anyway carry on dudes. Hope everyone crushes this week. Tho I hate you and your fuckin skin pores, and your left arms.
